I accidentally forgot to put the round ball shaped piece by the legs on one guy, and discovered that it worked better than it did with it on. I took it off of the second guy. He stands up straighter and moves better! It was a little complicated to put together, but it works better than I thought it would!

The first one I got was missing one sprue of little parts. Instead of sending a replacement sprue, the company had me go through Amazon's return process and request a whole replacement game. Not terribly more inconvenient, and I can see why they might have done it, but it feels like it was a wasted expense on their part. Still, they were quick to communicate, and had the replacement out to me very quickly as well. So, good customer support all in all.On to the game/toy. You have to assemble it yourself, which is not terribly difficult, but not something most kids would be able to do well. Once assembled, it is a fun modern take on the old rok-em-sok-em robots I had as a kid, but feels a little more fragile and a little less fun. I don't regret getting it, but I also probably wouldn't buy it again...

The legs kept on falling off which prevented us from even being able to play. The strings also hurt your hands. My son saved his money for this. He was so disappointed.

My son was son excited for thus. He used his birthday money to buy it. It took me almost 2 hours to out together because it was complicated and one of the beads had a hole that was too small, I tried putting every string included through it and none would go through. Eventually I was able to put a needle in the middle of the string and push it through but by then end I was beyond frustrated. I had already put one together which took a while so didn't want to put it all away and send back as my son was patiently waiting, but was about ready to do that. Would never buy this again. Save your time and money.

This brought back memories from my childhood. Easy to set up and had pretty good quality

I really didn't enjoy putting this together to be honest. I realize the work in doing it on the factory side and maybe that would affect the price, but I really didn't enjoy it. I'd dreaded starting on it and really it's about getting everything tightened up and where it actually reacts well. The kids liked it for a few days but since it's been sitting aside.I think it's a great idea and I'd like to see some future alterations but this one itself for us at least just didn't hold attention long enough for me to feel satisfied with my work assembling it.

This is a little bit similar to Rock em Sock em robots. It takes a bit of time and patience to put it together, but it is fun to play with after putting it together. My whole family had fun playing it.

Why four stars if I don't like it? Instructions were clear. The entire thing was made decently. Nothing misrepresented. Everything fits back into the box easily for storage (That's a good thing. I don't see this getting much use). It works as described. It just is what it claims to be.The first (or last?) photo is what I "saw" when I opened the box and I closed it right back up (If it's not obvious, I took everything out for the photo). When I saw the sprues, I told myself: nope.And on a relaxing Tuesday evening, I decided to put it together. Instructions are straightforward. A little awkward in the translation but straightforward.The figures have their own storage. It works. I included 2 photos of how to put it in the box and everything fits easy. Included 2 extra bits of string...Now, I don't know who this is made for. It's some modern interpretation of a fighting toy originally made from bamboo and string for kids before the modern age.... I don't know any young people who would wait in line to play with this in these times, but I have been known to be wrong many times before.The "action" is actually not bad. Nothing spectacular as described but definitely some attack and defensive appearing moves. But not sure how to judge who wins/loses. It would seem to get boring fast.I took a star off because I had to put it together. But otherwise, it is exactly as described and works exactly as represented. It says ages 3+ on the box and yeah... An adult will probably be doing that.I can't believe I wasted a part of my life actually putting this together--even the decals. I honestly don't know who/what/why this was even made.
