Works great -- perfect fit for 5.5 gallon tank
I love the inline controls. Can choose different color lights, and 4 levels of brightness plus off. The timer options of 6, 9 & 12 seem sufficient. I do not know if the output is sufficient though. My plants are dying off, in less than a week, but I'm being patient, in case it's normal for a new tank with new plants. Still learning. My tank is 15.5" wide and the small light fits perfectly.

Bright and easy
Super bright, I love the color options, super easy to use and program the Timer, and fit as it should. Great value in my opinion

Perfect!
Ignore the fact that I need to add water to my tank please. That being said this is perfect! My original light went out for my tank and I needed something to replace it on the cheap that would do the job until I could invest in a better system. However I think I will just stick with this one and not bother buying another. I got a smaller light and with the different settings it lights up my 30 gallon tank with no issues. For the price this can't be beat! Love the different colors and the different light settings. Happy customer

Didn't fit my tank but works great!
I bought the wrong size. This doesn't fit a 20 inch tank - that's my fault. But the light is amazing and the settings are nice. Just wish I had measured instead of guessed. If it fit my tank I would give 5 stars. Again it's my fault and I'm just gonna keep it for a backup.

Good light
My 10 gallon fish tank fluorescent light stopped working (ballast problem). I removed the guts from the original light cover and put this inside. It’s even better than the original light and fit perfectly in the original cover.

Good LED, inconsistent auto timer
Two malfunctions: the product had a piece of plastic snap off as soon as I unboxed it. Also, the automatic timer is completely unreliable, as it turns on/off at different times each day. Color and brightness features are accurate.

NOT FOR 20 INCH TANK!
Works fine, but had to duct tape the holders to the light itself as they barely stay in. The holders DO NOT hang on top and around the edge. You have to set it on the little inside lip. VERY DANGEROUS. It actually dips in the middle and would fall come apart and fall in with a light touch.I have black duct tape and don't really mind it, but if you do, DON'T get this light for your 10 gallon, 20 inch tank.
