I recently purchased 2 of these to replace my end tables. I love the result, as I live and work in a small loft where every inch of floor space is valued. This cabinet took up half of the floor space of my old end tables, yet they provide 10X the storage area.Assembly - I am a 67 year old woman, and I assembled them myself. The first one I needed my partner to hold the doors while I tightened the hinges. The second one I did myself.BOX IS HEAVY - thankfully my doorman brought it right to my unit.BEST VALUE TIP - If you want two of these, order them individually for free shipping. If you order the pair together, it looks like it's cheaper, but you will pay $70 shipping (even with Prime).I ordered them about a week apart because I wanted first to see if I like it. Also, I didn't want all of the boxes and parts sitting around. I'm old and I need a week to recover from the first one before I did the second oneMORE TIPS:At the very first step - add gliders to the bottom feet if you have a hard surface floor. Makes moving /arranging much easier.BE SURE TO CAREFULLY study the visual instructions. There are clues as to which way to assemble. Pay attention to where the holes are located on the illustration and be sure to check/double check your assembly as you go.Check YOUTUBE for videos of assembly. There are a couple on there.Oh, If you want a glass top for your unit, Ikea has aset of 2 glass shelves which are just a tad smaller than the cabinet top. It was way cheaper than custom glass, and the shipping was only $5.Enjoy your beautiful cabinet(s). They are a great value and look very nice.

This is a review of REHOOPEX Set of 2 Black Side Storage Cabinet.I have no idea what came over me that I decided I would tackle putting this together by myself. I am the person who will call Task Rabbit in a heartbeat to put stuff together.Boy, am I so glad I decided to give it a shot. I feel so accomplished now. I bought the 2-pack of these and put both of them together all by myself! If you are like me, I suggest you give it a try, it really isn't that hard....really! If you are used to putting stuff together, this will be a breeze. It took about an hour to put the first one together and maybe 35 minutes to put the second one together using power tools.For newbs like me, here are a few hints to help you out.1. Lay out all of your pieces so you know exactly what you have. All of the pieces and hardware are labeled perfectly.2. When you get to step 2 be aware of the orientation of the board. This will be your middle shelf. I wasn't fully aware and wound up with the shelf upside down (where the screws show on top) on the first one I put together. I got it right on the second one. Maybe one day I'll take the first one apart and flip it over - or maybe not since you can't tell once the shelf is filled with stuff.3. Use a power tool to put it together. I was done in no time with an electric screwdriver. It would've taken forever with a manual screwdriver. You will get an allen wrench for some of the screws as well.4. In order to not drive myself nuts, when attaching the hinges to the sideboard by myself, I actually turned the unit on its side which made it a breeze to drill the hinge screws into place.5. If you still aren't sure you can do it, just ask the seller to send you the directions before purchasing so you can see exactly what it entails. That is what I am doing for other items I am purchasing now.I wanted different handles than what comes with it. I read another review where the person gave the measurements to look for (7-9/16 192mm center to center). I found these on Amazon, on sale for $10 each (B09L5C16WC). They come in various finishes. If you decide to get these, here's a little tip: the handles come with 2 sizes of screws. Use the shorter ones with this unit. You're welcome :).I still have to tweak the doors a bit to get them lined up to my exacting look, but I got them close on my first try and it doesn't look too bad right now.I am super happy with the purchase. The price for two was reasonable, everything came in perfect condition, it looks just as described, and was easy to put together.

I needed a cabinet to store plates and cookware, but I had extremely limiting size constraints and this was pretty much my only option that wasn't plastic. I am thrilled to report that it is sleek and modern, and looks nice.The assembly isn't too hard -- a friend and I put this together in under an hour -- and it's sturdy and doesn't wobble. It's not solid wood, but I'm not worried that it will fall apart any time soon, and I feel secure about the breakable items stored inside.

This cabinet is perfect for the space I had to place it in! I love the dark Teal color it goes really pretty with my decor colors. Easy to put together.The quality is very good.

I was surprised by the quality. I had low expectations since it’s low grade material. But wow, these cabinets look great! I bought 3 for my son’s room. Easy to assemble and adjust the doors. You need to utilize the screw adjustment inside the hinge to level the doors. Easy to do once you realize it’s there for leveling. Lots of people think the door is the problem…nope: user issue. Just read the instructions and remember the doors level through the screw on the hinge. These shelves hood just enough weight and the finish is good. I’d recommend! I’m buying 3 more for my media room.

I can't even give a one star for this but had to in order to submit. I spent many hours assembling to have it not work. I thought it was my error so I took it apart and did again with the same problem. The item was defective. One side was reversed making one side flush and the other sticking out. I contacted seller and told them that since it was assembled it would be hard to return. They responded to me to try something else but there is no way to fix it because it is defective. Since 6/9 they have not responded to me.

Wow, terrific product for under $100. Great mid modern style. Was looking for real wood, but reviews weren't as good as the one's for this cabinet. Agree, with other reviewers, the cabinet was super easy to assemble. Can't forget to mention that it looks as good as real wood 😃.
