Well made and easy install didn't take long with basic tools but I went and got grade 8 bolts instead of supplied hard wear but would definitely buy again

After reading some reviews I was unsure about these things but I took a chance. I had zero problems installing. My Ram is a 15 and the bolt/ nut body swivel was already in place. All of the main brackets were properly labeled. The other brackets were pretty straight forward in my opinion. As far as people say the directions were horrible?? I had zero issues understanding the drawings included. No the directions were not step by step easy but if you can read a drawing you should have no problems. If you are mechanically challenged I suggest paying someone to install them lol. Seriously folks , it’s not that hard. 2 hours to install for me. It was harder getting the old ones off. These step bars are heavy duty and look amazing. My steps don’t budge a bit when I put my full weight on them. I highly recommend this product.

I bought these for my 2020 Ram 3500, and just love them. Like other reviewers, I thought that figuring out the brackets was a bit tricky, as installation manual was pretty weak. However, after installation, I was looking at the first picture in the Amazon listing and realized that all of the brackets are shown as used, with proper orientation (with front shown to the lower/left). Use that picture, and you'll be just fine. The middle fitting that inserts into the truck wall, with captive nut, is a bit tricky to install, as there's not as much clearance to insert and move into place, but not difficult. I wasn't sure how to install this piece, but found a video on Youtube on it. Make sure to recover, with duct tape, the holes in the truck wall that were covered by tape at the factory, so these don't fill with mud/rocks. These have three attachment points, which makes them much more solid than the cheaper ones with only two attachment points.

I have a 2021 Ram 1500 classic quad cab and the running boards are a perfect fit. The only reason for the 4 stars is the instructions are very vague. It took me about an hour and a half to put the right side in but once I figured the other side went on in 20 minutes. The quality is good and they are strong.

The box was pretty beat up when delivered (not the manufacture's fault) and the hardware bag had a hole in it and was empty. The brackets were all there though and there was no damage to the running boards. I had read that the mounting hardware was less than to be desired from other reviews and decided to purchase what I needed from a hardware store. These were easy to install and are very sturdy. Very Happy with these running boards!

Reduced to 1 star as after the first rain, rust is visible. The steps were on the truck less than 24 hours before it rained. And there are those chrome bolts that have my OCD on overload.Invest your money elsewhere!!!The step looks nice but that's where it stops. I removed the OEM steps which had support brackets underneath, these steps just have 6 bolts holding them onto the mounting brackets. There is no support from underneath which means after some time of use and vibration from driving they are sure to come loose. If only they had made the steps with a bracket to slide on to the truck mounted brackets, this would have added stability. Make sure you really crank these nuts down tight on the bolts, I weigh 185 lbs. and found the steps to have a bit of play in them until I did this. Lock washers or nylon nuts would have been ideal for this install. I was a bit excited for the attention to detail when I saw the black nuts and bolts for mounting the steps to the brackets, but that was short lived as I quickly discovered the nuts and bolts that can be seen are chrome and are quite noticeable. My OCD has kicked in, I am buying black stainless nuts, bolts and lock washers to replace all of the chrome ones. Funny thing is, you can't even see the black bolts, the only ones truly visible are the chrome ones. In my opinion the step pads are a bit too short. They are just fine for entering the truck, but most people don't exit the way they enter. People will swing to their left, then step down which places your foot on the very edge of the step pad and more on the rounded bar. This may become an issue when raining, snow/ice or even when wearing a pair of boots or any show with a heel as the it may get caught on the bar. My foot print is clearly visible in the one picture of where my foot landed when exiting, a few inches longer and this would not be an issue. Packaging was excellent as well as the labeling of the parts, there was no guessing which part was which. The instructions however were somewhat vague. I definitely would not recommend these steps to anyone and will chalk this purchase up to a $260 mistake. Yes there was a $60 coupon applied when purchased.

Love it amazing product simple to install

These were not the easiest to install. Without thinking about it for a while anyway. These are everything that I could have wanted. Super sturdy and look great on the vehicle. Definitely worth the money.Other than a terrible instruction guide, this is the product to do with! 10/10!
