This is possibly my favourite brand of note books. They're really sturdy and, I think, value for money. The pages remove really easily out of the ring pull or, if you want, you can remove them from the perforated line on the left margin. That being said, they don't just come away at this perforation and rings - they stay in place until you remove the pages.

Fed up with substandard paper in notebooks - this is not the case here. The paper is excellent quality. Each page is perforated for easy removal. All in all, a great product. Just a little expensive.

I fell in love with Black and Red back in the early 2000s and just could not stop using them. Especially the A5 size since it was easy enough to bring along for various needs and chats. And then, with the scanning feature - excellent.

Sturdy books which are great for studying a levels. I am able to record my notes onto an app to revise from too.

I was introduced to Black 'n' Red books back in 1994 while working over the summer in London at a creative agency. I've never found better. I start a new book for each major project, and have a load more for other purposes.This, the L67000 is my favourite: it's a nice A5 size; it has a perforation for removing pages; it's the right thickness; and as usual for Black n Reds, the paper is excellent. It's smooth to write with ballpoint, pencil or cartridge pen, and it's ruled just enough to be visible without being intrusive.My only complaint is that they've added a silly little blue and white logo to the front cover. It's obnoxious, out-of-place and unnecessary.

I absolutely love writing in these super smooth notebooks!! If you’re hesitant about buying these don’t be, they are worth every penny!

Good quality paper for fountain pen use. No bleed through or feathering. Very smooth.
