Didn't work for the purpose purchased, great for sharing a mouse.
I bought this in an attempt to share an external hard drive between my PS4 and PS5. It did work for the PS5, but the drive always appeared broken for the PS4. Even when repaired and left only connected to the PS4. For whatever reason, they are not compatible.I have since taken to using it to share one mouse between 2 computers. This eliminates the frustration of grabbing the wrong mouse. It works well for this. At some point I will upgrade to a 3-in/2-out model so that I can do the same with the keyboard. (Needs the 3rd for the USB pass-through on the keyboard.)

Works great with my PC/MacBook Pro M1 combination, can be finicky
I spent a very long time searching for a KVM/dock which would allow me to use my primary PC without sacrificing video quality on my ultra-wide monitor, while also letting me use my M1 MacBook Pro with a single cable to charge it at the same time. This KVM does all of that, and it makes switching devices easy with the button. The only issue I've encountered with the dock so far is sometimes when waking my Windows PC, the monitor comes on but displays "no signal" until I press the button on the KVM twice to switch to the second device, then back to the PC again. Also, setting this up on a MacBook in clamshell mode can be somewhat temperamental, but that's due to the security of macOS requiring you to allow USB devices to connect to the computer when connecting a new device for the first time. It took some trial and error to get it to work with my monitor in clamshell mode, but once I got that figured out, it's been flawless.I also wish it would've had an audio output as well, but I bought it knowing it didn't and it's certainly no deal-breaker. Aside from the intermittent display issues, it works just fine.

Using as KVM switch to docking station with DisplayPort monitors; so far so good
This review refers to the "Bi-Directional USB C Switcher".Background: I have multiple lapops which I would like to switch keyboard/mouse control between and, to a lesser extent, share monitors, all while having only a single USB-C cable to each laptop. This means power delivery (i.e. USB-C PD) has to work, also.Being somewhat new, as we all are, to the USB4/USB-C/Thunderbolt/DisplayPort docking station/KVM switch world (I challenge you to try to understand how these things all fit together without going insane; it's like they took the ISO layered networking model and did the exact opposite whenever possible), I spent some time searching around trying to find a 'USB4 / DisplayPort KVM switch' without much luck. Most of the products I found had separate inputs for USB and video (and sometimes other things, as you'd expect on an oldschool 'literally just flip a bunch of relays at the same time' KVM switch) for each computer. This is not what I wanted. I wanted a device with two (well honestly I want three or four, but I'll settle for two) 'upstream' USB-C ports and a way to hook up a couple monitors, etc.Comes along this guy, and I realized I don't need the switch to have video ports. I already have a ThinkPad docking station with enough ports for all my HIDs (keyboard and mouse) and two DisplayPort monitors. What if I just put this switch in front of that? Price doesn't hurt too bad, so I ordered it to find out.Result: Works as expected. With two daisy-chained DisplayPort monitors: works. With two DisplayPort monitors plugged into the docking station: works. If I had more monitors I suppose I could try two parallel daisy-chains, but at that point it would be testing my laptop's GPU more than this little switch. As others also noticed, it takes a few seconds to switch over. Occasionally, after switching, my computer will not recognize that it has been, via a monstrous chain of wires and badly-layered protocols, [re]connected to the monitor(s). In those cases switching back and forth again usually sorts things out.I haven't tried hooking things up in the other direction. Presumably then you could switch one computer between two docking stations or something? Which seems less useful. Just use a normal USB switch for that. I haven't tested this product in that configuration.Somebody make a 3 or 4-port version of this and take my money. (I have too many computers for my small house.)

Exactly what I was looking for
I was looking for a KVM to utilize my personal and work laptop, and wanted to use USB-C, and provide video output to 4k@60hz. The last part was the difficult part to find something compatible, and this one was one of the very few that was available. I also needed power passthrough for one laptop due to the lack of additional USB-C ports on the laptop. This was the only one on Amazon that seemed to fit the bill of what I was looking for. I can confirm all of the above works including 65w passthrough and 4k@60hz+HDR. This is basically exactly what I needed. Even the includued button is a nice touch, one that I hadn't considered but it's ncie to attach it under my desk for quick switching. I knocked off a star because one USB port seems to be having issues with my wireless HP keyboard, I switched ports and it seems to be working for now. My Logitech MX Master 3S works fine.

Works as expected
Switching between laptops is seamless. All shared devices work well.

Does not work for Studio Display + Destroyed a cable
I purchased the USBC-to-USBC switcher to easily swap between my work mac and home pc on the Studio Display. My pc has displayport and I found a specific cord that supports DP 1.4 to Thunderbolt. I confirmed that cord worked before plugging it into this switch with my thunderbolt only cord to the mac.For a brief moment it lit up the screen and worked. When I tried switching to my Mac, nothing. When I tried switching back, nothing. I have a different monitor with a thunderbolt port that I was able to test out and there was no signal being transmitted at all anymore.I'm guessing this has to do with the power delivery from USBC that just completely nuked the cable. Thankfully the monitor and my PC GPU are okay but I can't say that everybody else will be so lucky.Update: The seller was kind enough to contact me about this issue. While I have not gotten it to work with the DP-to-TB cable, I did do some additional testing with their in-box cords and found that they do work (though very short). For those who want longer cables, you may need to try USB-C with display function (instead of specifically a TB cable).

Works
I am only using this for a gaming kinesis freestyle split keyboard. It works for switching between my PC and my MacBook pro. It takes about 5 seconds to switch but I am okay with that.

Works with my MacBook Pro (2021)
NEEDS A THUNDERBOLT CABLE for thunderbolt video. Also I hope this helps avoid the pain of bashing your head repeatedly on the bottom of your desk as you plug things in and out with growing desperation.I borrowed one for testing. Why would my loving partner not give me one? Because they retail at £129. Seriously, Apple, WTF? Apparently there's a tiny little computer in each end of the cable. Because of course there is. Anyway, that's why it isn't included by default, and I can't really blame them for that. But it was the source of a fair amount of headbanging. The included cables work fine with Windows on HDMI via USB-A to the USB-C port. Even without a power cable my Corsair gaming keyboard and Razer mouse light up in all their rainbow glory. The USB-C to USB-C didn't work with the Mac at all, but given I need to order a Thunderbolt anyway, meh. I swapped it with another which at least lets the peripherals do their fabulous best.At the moment I am using the Mac via its HDMI port and the Windows machine via Display Port, so I have to press a whole TWO buttons, but at least there's no more messing around with cables. and I can look forward to my exciting capitalist growth increment arriving in two days. At least my Mac is 2nd hand so I can feel a bit less less bad about trashing the planet to pay the rent. Also the KVM is smaller than I expected (in a good way).
