although this is exactly what I need, the product is build up with a hard plastic ring that has been broken apart after 2 use. It's meant to be resistant to drumstick hits but it came undone after hitting it ! Doesn't make sense.I will try to glue it back... and I will try to get a refund for it. Incredibly weak.the clip that attaches to the HH rod is perfect and does exactly the job...

Like the size of this tambourine as you can still play the hi hat without it getting in the way.Easily slips into the hi hat. Also like that you can play the tambourine with the drumsticks on the plastic frame without damaging the metal rings.

It's great, light weight, sounds great. I like that even if I lift the hi hat lightly it doesn't make any sound and when you lift the hi hat quickly you can hear the tambourine. The size is the best part of it, I don't clip my stick off it when I'm playing fast on the hi hats you can just get on with playing. The quick release is very cool.

I've been using this in my high school jazz ensemble, and it works a treat. A great addition to the kit!
