It's your decision but....
I opened this product and immediately wanted to return it due to the, shall we say, flimsy build quality. Indeed, I began the change of mind refund, however, I had a planned night fishing outing coming up the very next night. Thus, I decided to give this heater a go. Checking the weather, it was going to be a cold night, just above 0 degrees, but that was OK as I have a handy sized heater....Uh, no. As the evening got colder and the temperature dropped, I thought let's get the heater out. Got it out, loaded the gas as per the manufacturer's instructions and it all went down hill from there. The gas cannister compartment wouldn't click shut and flapped open whenever it was moved, The ignitor didn't work without the assisted lighter tab on the top, but it did light. It started warming the bivvy I was in, however, unfortunately after about 30 minutes or so the heater started to falter and go out with the gas still turned on! If I hadn't been paying attention or had nodded off, who knows what could've happened? I'll let you decide what happens if the gas is on but the flame goes out unnoticed!Even after this, I still persisted. I checked the gas cannister, still virtually full. Reinstalled it and tried to reignite it only to find there was now no spark coming from the ignitor and it hasn't lit since. Needless to say, I had an incredibly cold night and I'm incredibly unhappy with the manufacturers of this product, however, I am still here. This item is a waste of money and, in my opinion, potentially life threatening.... But its your decision.

Not recommended
Was working ok but decided recently that bursting into flames would be a good idea, managed to switch off before any major damage though. Contacted Highlander through their website to advise of the situation and to ask for advice, as yet no reply........

Just awful...
Purchased this to heat up a section of our summer house. Took around 30 mins to raise the temp by 3 degrees. You will be changing cannisters out in no time. The ring pull that is apart of the starting procedure is very soft and thin that stretches when pulled. Yes you could replace it with a better one. This heater would probably be good for heating up a small tent (allowing adequate ventilation of course). Seller refused a return due it 'being used', 'now unsellable' and has damage to the ring pull!...' I have used 3 cannisters.

Easy to Use but no real heat
So, I bought this product with the intention of being able to play music outside, to keep hand warms and as a personal heater for me and other on cold evenings.First the good things. It's light and easy to use, I cools down very fast, it is very light and easy to carryThe BAD things. IT does not provide enought heat or directed heat to provide warmth. The heat given off from the Heater is good to about a foot away or the width of two of my hands. For £27 it is ok, but its more like a toy , there is no danger of burning yourself as i was able to place my hands on top of the heater and on the sides next to the ceramic plate. this is quickly becoming a useless purchase and is more symbolic than useful.

Quality
Its not the best quality and may not work as expected when you first try to use. Mine was spluttering and not providing an even heat or even any real heat. I needed to pull apart and re-position the jet going to the heating element - now its perfect and I get a nice red hot glow !

Kicks out a fair amount of Heat for size
This packs a punch for its size, uses the same canisters that the stoves so you only need to purchase one form of fuel for your camping trip.I have been using mine in the garage when working over the winder months, and also take it with me for when sat outside the tend. Not recommended to be used inside your tent.

A Great Little Heater...
This is an excellent little heater. I purchased it to use in a beach hut and with 5mins at full heat then turned down to minimum it easily raised the temp from 17C to 20.5C and kept it there for 2.5hrs after which the gas canister felt as though it was still a quarter full.

Fantastic
This was bought as our boiler went wrong and we wanted extra heat in the kitchen the only thing we found the gas containers don't last very long but otherwise it was a god send.
