hard to get batteries in
on a whole it’s a good little car, it’s smaller than i thought it was going to be, but quite fast. Trying to put the batteries in was quite difficult without damaging the car but eventually got them in.

Suitable from 3 years old not 2 as stated on bottom of package
This toy car is not suitable from 2 years old as stated in description. The packaging clearly states not suitable for under 3 year old.

Great if you have small kids
The battery life should be longer they only last 15-20 min when fully charged.

Great fast car
This item arrived safe and well packaged. This car is really very quick when being driven on a smooth surface but off road is where it's best. Make an obstacle course or take it out into the garden. It's got enough suspension etc to tackle most surfaces.Quick charging for a good few minutes of super fast fun is great. I have other remote control cars which use the same battery, so the fun never needs to stop! This car actually looks really good too!I highly recommend this product.

Can you fix the wheels again?
The Highttoy RC car is good fun but not great. It comes with a rechargeable battery in the car itself – just unscrew the cover (screwdriver supplied!), remove the battery pack and connect it to the USB cable to charge. It takes around 2 hours to charge – the red light on the USB goes off when it’s done and I found there’s a pretty good usage time – my son was using it on and off over 2 days but may only work out to 20-30 minutes constant use before it starts jittering. Downside though is if there is a problem with the batteries in the car, you can't use it as they're connected by a cable. The controller requires 2 x AA batteries (not supplied). I found it’s a much better outdoor toy than it is indoor because it does have some speed to it which is harder to react to in a smaller space. You can push the trigger back to go forward and push it forward to reverse and there’s a wheel to turn the wheels. When it crashes it tends to jump into a different position which can be a bonus. The quality of it though it pretty poor – the body made of thin plastic is very flexible which in itself isn’t bad as it isn’t going to break as easily as solid plastic but it doesn’t make it feel good quality. The body is just held on by 4 clips and was covered in cellophane but because they’d added things like the back bracket and tyre on top meant it was impossible to remove it all. The wheels are very flexible but also come off the rims far too easily so I’m constantly having to fix them. Overall for the price, it’s not bad but I really don’t see this as something that will last long.
