Matador Beast28 Packable Technical Backpack

Well made and robust. All the requirements one would expect in a lightweight day pack but with the ability to store in small stuff sack. One failing - side pockets to small for water bottle (although there is room in back pouch). Intend to use on camping expeds where it is small and light enough to fit into Bergen and can use as day sack on walks from campsite.

Folds away into my hold luggage ready to be deployed on arrival. Design is fine but if I was fussy, I'd get rid of the external stash pocket as it's superfluous and it's buckles just get in the way. That said, it's very well made and comfortable to wear all day.

It's worth it 5 stars, I am giving 4 because the picture does not match with the product. The side pockets are very small. I was looking for an extra light daily backpack and this Matador Beast 28 does the job extremely well!My MacBook Pro 13" fits perfectly with its sleeve on the hydration pack compartment.Extremely comfortable feels like a feather even when it is full with tech gears and EDC items. (1l water bottle [FULL], Lunchbox, snacks, ultralight foldable jacket, MacBook Pro, battery bank, cables, notebook etc)Feels durable compared to other light backpacks I have tried before for almost the same price.If the side pockets were as big as shown in the picture I would be super satisfied with my purchase. Just to make an idea of how "big" they are, it fits a sunglasses case.

First great bag, well made, very light and strong material, your not gonna worry it will rip, don't like the front open pocket, could do will a few more pocket in the bag,the side pockets are very small and tight, you only get slim bottle in, and the chest strap too short, and I'm a size medium

I bought it from ebay. One of the reasons was because sellers description said it's waterproof. Well, it's not. I'm adding manufacturer's description from the label in the photos.

Pros- Very light and can be compacted into a small carry case which you can latch onto your other bags- 1 larger interior pocket with a section for a hydration sac- I use an osprey 3L (with a support back - explained later)- 1 small outer pocket at the top.- 3 exterior holes to stash other items in. 2 on the side and one on the front- hip beltCons- The side holes can not fit a water bottle inside it, in my case a camel back insulated 500ml- Without the stiff back hydration pack, the bag lacks any form making it a little annoying to open/find items- The bag is definitely NOT 28L.
