The candle comes in a cute protective case that has the brand name on it, but it can be easily disposed of it you want just the candle. The candle smelled so good that the bride passed it around the room for everyone to smell as soon as she opened it. If ever in need of a cute gift I will definitely consider ordering another one of these candles.

I gave this as a gift - the packaging it came in was great. As other poeple have mentioned, you can't open the gift packaging to see the candle before you gift it.

Great Candle! My mother in law loved it! The outside of the box didn't say 1943, but that's what's inside. They are redesigning the outside of the box. It's a great gift, smells good too! Nice personal gift!

The candle smells wonderful and looks same as pictured, only downfall is that when you receive it it is in a sealed round cardboard giftbox(which is cute) but you can’t see it or smell until it’s opened.
