Excellent deal. This is a real instrument and it's fun to play. Well worth the money.
I bought this for parts and for experimenting with hardware, and also to try out a 3/4 guitar. I bought this one and the Telecaster copy because I wanted one floating bridge and one hardtail bridge.Pros--Amazingly good craftsmanship for the price. The neck is decent. The fretwork is solid and smooth and precise. The tuners work. The bridge components work. The wiring, so far, works. The cap on the pickup selector switch stays on, unlike my $700 MIM Telecaster.--The feel and appearance are good. It looks good in real life as well as in the picture. It plays pretty darn good, again for the price.--The 3/4 size is a lot of fun.Cons--The factory pickguards are complete trash and it's hard to find replacement 3/4 pickguards. The stock ones they come with are some sort of soft plastic that can be permanently scratched with nothing but fingernails. I ended up just taking mine off and holding the pickup in with tape until I think of something better. It's actually a step up for now.--It doesn't stay in tune all that well, but at this price it does a respectable job.I haven't bothered comparing the specs for all the parts and whatnot, but this feels like a Squire-level guitar. A real instrument, entry-level but decent and completely usable as an actual guitar to play actual music.

Lack of Quality Control
I've bought sold many guitars through the years and I knew that work would have to be done in order to make this guitar playable. However, there were problems that exceeded the poor fretwork, unidentifiable fretboard wood described as 'rosewood', lousy tuners etc.The additional issues:1. the toggle switch screw was stripped making it impossible to move between neck and bridge pickups. Wiring was a mess, too.2, The neck pickup was embedded into the guitar on the treble side - literally sitting flush with the body. It was so firmly stuck that it couldn't be extracted without damaging the cheap plastic casing. The paperwork stated that 'extra attention had been given to the guitar'. Really??? Got Amazon involved in order to expedite my refund as no one at CNZ responded to my email regarding the lack of quality control with this guitar.

Great little guitar
I own a number of budget guitars, Harley Benton, and Grote, this is equal to Harley Benton and better than Grote. The feel is great, satin finish on neck feels great with the standard c shape neck that most far east guitars come with that is not too thick not too thin. The body looks awesome, pickups and electronics sound and feel great. The only work I had to do was polish the frets a bit, there was no fret sprout, just tops a little rough, you could have played them in probably, but I always change the strings almost as soon as I get a new guitar so I can do a set up with my preferred string.

It's mini magic!
Absolutely love it! This is the best mini/"starter" guitar I've played in the almost 30 years of playing. It is a short, Short Scale at 22 inches & would work excellent for any youths. I do believe it is intended for starters. It's the perfect guitar to have next to the couch & for the kids to bang on! If you're looking for a mini get this one, it won't disappoint. ... ... Versus the competition goes like this: (potted) p90s vs HH, a volume pot that cleans up, 22inch scale vs 22.75inches, 7/8 offset body (which is perfect since offsets tend to run larger) , way better color options, a stupid headstock (I will admit the hook is awful), but vintage style saddle with a tremelo block, what appears to be a bone nut, & all that with a quick dressing from CNZ themselves. Yea, it really does make it a no brainer. If you're in the market for a mini, do it!

Great guitar if you have basic repair skills
Let me say that I fell in love with this guitar as soon as I opened the box. The look and feel are fantastic. The finish is flawless (at least I haven't found any blems). So why 4 stars? I had to take off a star for quality control. The guitar had 3 issues. 1. The toggle switch was very sticky. I had to flip between the pickups for half hour before the switch started working smoothly. 2. Tremolo was too stiff. When I say it was stiff, I mean I almost snapped the whammy bar the first time I used it. Before I heard a difference in pitch. This was corrected by removing a spring and loosening adjustment screws in body. 3. Pickups were out of phase. This was solved by dropping new pickups into the guitar.I have played for 50 years and repaired guitars for 17 and these repairs were simple and the new pickups only cost $25. However if the guitar had to be sent out to your local G C or other store for repairs the price would have doubled the guitars original price. After all adjustments and new pick ups, this thing plays like an absolute dream! I would definitely recommend or buy again. Just be aware out of the box you may have to make some adjustments.
