Card Control: Practical Methods and Forty Original Card Experiments (Dover Magic Books)

Any amateur who wishes to step up their game and handle the cards like a professional, get this book. This is the big boys/big girls book so expect a lot of hard work to make these effects function properly.It's a small book, but worth it's magical weight in gold. A must have!

This is a phenomenal book. There are so many sleights and tricks in here it is unbelievable. Ranging from card manipulation to false deals to shifts to blind shuffles, I'm honestly never going to finish this. Great instruction with pictures on almost every page. I love it. But a word of warning, this book is NOT for beginners. The material is hard and will take a significant amount of time to become proficient at. But don't be turned off by this; if you are a beginner, go and check out the rest of the Dover catalogue. Start with something a little more basic, like "The Royal Road to Card Magic', and "Expert Card Technique", and work your way up, because this book is fantastic

There are some really good techniques and effects in this little book. There are quite a few photographs to help explain the techniques.

A very good book to study on card controls in card magic of just to show off some fancy skills with cards. You will need to take the time to learn from this book.

Great book with plenty of old school techniques. Small format tough to read sometimes.

Great resource

Just amazing that you can get this for Kindle! To be perfectly honest, it's not the best way to read a book on magic, but it's done properly for Kindle and is great reading. It prompts you to put the moves into application differently by seeing them in your mind before you see the pictures. I believe any card control fan would benefit from this.

However, be prepared to spend some time with this "manual." You must work and re-work the tricks until you are confident that you can fool your friends. Suggest practicing in front of a mirror until you cannot detect yourself doing the trick. Practice! Practice! Practice

Amazing, this book is just so good, the 40 trick a the ends worth the price alone!A lots of goods techniques, somme realy hard to realise!U must have been practicing magic for a leat one year before trying this book, cause it's not for beginer!I recommand "royal road to card magic" if u are starting in card magic!PS: pictures are greats and they realy help you to understand techniques!

かなりの数のカードコントロールの仕方が書いてありますが、全部英語なので、英語が苦手な人には無理かもしれませんが、大学生ほどであればそんなに苦ではないと思われます。写真も全219ページの中に302個の写真が載っているので、なんとなく英語を訳すことができれば、すぐに実行できるのではないでしょうか？
