This is great. Used in the work where the doors are over 100 year old. Sealed the gaps nicely, and so easy to fit. No more wind whistling up the hallway!

Arrived on time very easy to install and keeps out the draft. Replacing sponge draft excluder that was too thick preventing door closing properly.

I have started refurbishing my old sash windows after many years of neglect from previous homeowners. I wasn't really sure how well it work but am very pleasantly surprised! I would recommend following the packet instructions of preparing the surface you wish to stick the draught excluder to, although its very sticky its worthwhile. I have used them in various places on my sash windows, the crossbars where the two windows meet as well as up the sides. They really do cut out the draughts effectively. They are for use in 3-5mm gaps which was just right for my windows. I have ordered more and am slowly stripping away the horrible self adhesive foam strips used by previous owners, which have either not stuck or squashed down so they are useless. I would highly recommend this product as I have noticed a considerable difference in warmth and sound proofing from my windows (original single glazed wooden sash windows in an old sandstone tenement flat)

I bought 1 pack along with the rubber P alternative to compare and both are very good, so much so I have bought both again to stop draughts on all windows and doors in our house.We have double glazing but the fitter left gaps which we could not work out how to solve...the fitter has disappeared so these have done the job...both noise and draught proof.Either will work so buy with confidence.

I must admit, I bought the wrong product (my mistake) as I didn't realise what a range of lengths of brush pile that were available. That said, I installed this item until I was able to get one with a longer pile, and it did a great job - holding down to the surface of a door frame which suffers from the everyday clambering over of feet. The peel-back adhesive strip is very strong and it is worth spending the time to prepare a clean dry surface before applying the strip to the door frame surface - cleaning with alcohol or white spirit - all of which assists the strength of the bond. I have now replaced the produce with a strip of longer pile, so perhaps the main lesson to learn from the review is to make sure what length of pile you need before you purchase - you are sure to find one in the range of products to match any pre-existing draught excluder strip you may already have.

This product is extremely thin. The adhesive backing is poor.The picture of the product looks like it’s got a thick brush on a board like backing. No such thing. It does not stick on very long. Mine lasted overnight and started to fall off.It’s the worst draught excluder I’ve bought.

Does a good job off helping to keep leaves from blowing into my garage. Pleased I fitted it.It is self adhesive but I also stapled it into place for longevity.

Es increíble como con tan poco, se puede mejorar tanto una instalación. Cuando hacía viento, las persianas de mi vivienda no dejaban de golpear y hacer ruido y era muy molesto. Pude comprobar que era porque estaban totalmente desgastados los cepillos que sirven justamente para eso, ya que los anteriores propietarios no debía de haber hecho nunca el mantenimiento. Compré primero un ejemplar para cerciorarme del tamaño y de que funcionaba y una vez vi que encajaba perfecto y solucionaba de un plumazo el problema, cambié los de toda la casa y menuda diferencia: cero ruidos y más aislada.Funciona perfectamente y aunque el producto es algo caro por aquí, no acaba de encontrar lo que quería en otros grandes almacenes, así que es la mejor opción y espero que duren.

Ohne diese Dichtung klafft da schon ein großer Spalt zwischen den Flügeln einer Doppeltür, Die selbstschließenden Türen schließen auch mit dieser Dichtung teilweise weiterhin selbsttätig, teilweise muss man sie ganz, ganz leicht andrücken. Aber das nehme ich gerne in Kauf. Die Vorteile überwiegen erheblich.Übrigens, die Dichtung hat hervorragende zuverlässige Klebeeigenschaften und lässt sich sehr leicht anbringen.
