I hiked and camped over 200 miles with this product and found multiple uses for it, including:- Knee pad outside my tent door. < -- May be the best use, for me- Lunch tray < -- Lays flat for table-like use and accordion for use to hold sandwiches and snack in placeThis may be the lightest seat pad available - and ultra light weight is important when backpacking.It is easy to wipe off and keep clean. Good idea
Well if you are a child or very thin person this is a great ground cover to sit on. I am a grown curvy woman. I like to sit on the beach and look for shells. I was tired of sand sticking to everypart of me. I found this product and couldnt wait to get it. It is just big enough for my rump. On the up side it folds small, has an elastic band to keep it closed. It hangs on my beach bag. So I really like it in theory, a little less in application

It def works as you would expect, however it is as slippery as a flexible flyer sled. Sitting on snow and ice while hiking, sometimes i would just slide away! I think i would have liked some sort of traction material ( a rubber maybe?) on 1 side... i love how light it is and how thin it folds. So overall very happy

Great for hiking.
I carry this with me on my hikes and use it for when I sit down for snacks and it works good. It is enough cushion. Very light and easy to use.
