MUCH easier to use and get reliable results than the old and cheap crimp style. Expensive, but worth it for fast and perfect wire tap connections.

Made four connections , all worked great!

So much better than those "fold over and squish" type of connectors from a wide range of standpoints:1) Appears to have inherent water resistance2) Sometimes the initial crimping of the folding ones will damage them and they can come uncrimped.3) Reusable!4) Easy-to-useI've been using these for years in various gauges and they've always been great. I never have to worry that it'll come undone on its own, and I can even use them to wire up a proof-of-concept without wasting the material.

Used the taps on my custom android car stereo install. So much easier when connecting wires like the reverse trigger and illumination wires when you don't have to cut anything or split them. Simply insert the tap and screw it all in and it works like magic. Tried this flimsy T connectors, they never work. Ditch them and save yourself a ton of aggravation and get these. Wish you got a few more per pack, but it's a high quality product and I only ended up needed 5 or 6 to finish my project. Can't recommend enough.

The best product there is to make wire T-connections

I'm accustomed to using the old snap lock style of wire taps that need a blade connector on the other wire. To say those are kludgy would be an understatement. These are the modern equivalent we wished existed in the 90s of car audio. A perfect way to tap into those factory speaker harnesses to capture signal for a DSP or any other piggy-back wiring activities.

Positap is my go to connection method when working on adding accessories to semi trailers.Pros include piercing of wire versus traditional connectors that bite the wire. This prevents that bite from cutting wires. It also prevents loose connections which may short and corrode the wire faster.Cons would include it is not water tight but then again it does not advertise water tight connections. Nothing a little sealing tape cannot fix.Short and simple it should always be a second choice connection behind soldering which is not always possible in the field.

Works well for stereo upgrades.

Used these on my motorcycle to install a GPS and they are super easy to use. Bought 6 used 2 and will keep the rest in my tool kit.
