Definitely a car must have!!
Definitely a great product for the price! I’ve had other models of el wire before but nothing compares to this! I love love LOVE that this one doesn’t have that buzzing or ringing sound that some have when I plugged them into my car. Color looks beautiful even mid day and definitely nice and bright at night! Installation was easy for the most part but every car has that one section that’s going to be difficult to get the wire to stay but besides that it was super fast to install!

Looks Awesome on my 2012 Cruze!
The media could not be loaded. Love how it matches the original color of the car electronics and how easy it was to bend and fit it into tight places. I got the longest option and I was able to route the entire strip as one continuous line without having to cut it. Take the time to fit it and plan the route beforehand for best results. I used a trim tool and I took some panels off to make sure the strip was even more snug and secure. Overall, It was well worth it

Buzz noise
Product works, but the power brick has a buzzing noise that's super annoying.

stains your fingers while installing?
it was definitely a pain to install. the little part that is supposed to fit in would bend weird and not want to go in( which would’ve just been super tight spots) but my fingers are stained deep red which is odd. i wouldn’t install this if your interior is light colors although it looks beautiful and i love it

Great value for the price.
It is quite enjoyable and cool to have lighting in the car. For this price, you pay for what you get. The line feels quite durable and the installation was easy.TIP: For some really tight spaces, use an utility knife or small wedge to create some space. Holding that tool, smoothly run the wire and let the pressure from the tight space hold it in place. It was easy to installThe only thing that isn't a 5-star is the Red isn't as bright as I though it would be. It is still bright but I guess i can't complain.

Really Cool
I really like the way this installation turned out. I have been wanting this type lighting since I've seen it on some earlier car models I've been in. I never thought I would be able to have this feature in my 2011 Chevy Avalanche, until I came across these lighting strips on Amazon. The price was really reasonable and the installation seemed simple enough, so I thought I would give them a shot. I tested two colors, one transparent blue that was a close match to the interior dash colors, and one soft white. I went with the soft white because I thought it complemented the tan interior of the truck better. For me to make the installation as professional as I could, it did require me to take apart door panels and loosen part of the dash. There were, also, a couple areas that required me to glue to position. These were areas like above the glove compartment and below the steering wheel. In those two areas, there are no dash seems to slide the edge into. The final challenge was to figure out how I would power them. This part was tricky because I'm chancing my long term success by splicing into existing wires. One of the things I have found is that on most newer vehicles, splicing in to the existing system is discouraged. I really wanted these lights to work in concert with the trucks dash lights so I took a chance and spliced into that system. So far, it has been total success. The lights come on when the interior lights are on at night. They will even dim when I dim the dash lights. I don't know the longevity of these lights, but I'm crossing my fingers that they give me long term service. As of now, I am definitely giving 5 stars. M.Best has even been great on the shipping time as well as accepting the return of the ones not used. I'll update as time goes on.

Warning they die after a couple months
The media could not be loaded. So first off I have ordered 2 sets…My first set started to die due to the way the cord was pulled with the spot it was in. The second set I only then realized after 3 months had started to fade so it wasn’t the way I set them up it’s just a cheap set up.Don’t get me wrong they look amazing in my truck I get lots of compliments but I hate having to spend money again on them and redo my set up every few months. I have the blue but it looks more teal than dark blue. I didn’t mind it but wish they would make multi color. I’m going to start researching more Elwire and go with something different…
