AlessiJHT02 Chili Scruncher, Red

I'm not sure we even need to use it but it looks great my husband loves it

Saw this in a 'Valentine Gift Ideas' e-mail and, after checking some reviews and answer to my question on how it actually works, decided to get it - it's great! I used it for the first time last night with some dried chili peppers I'd had for ages, sprinkled the crushed flakes (perfectly crushed, I should add) on my food, excellent. I am already thinking about what to cook this evening to use it again. I love Alessi things.

Great little product if you like taking spicey stuff with you, dried chillis in scrunch them up and sprinkle on.

Well made and looks very cool but does not crush dried chillis. The red plastic part is simply not abrasive enough to do anything but squash them a bit. Very disappointing.

I do not eat chilly but bought this as a gift and the receiver seemed very pleased with it.

I love Alessi and is the main reason I bought this. It's so cute! That said I'm not entirely sure how much it does really. Style over substance perhaps. But it's a lovely little thing so I don't regret buying it.

Très joli, comme chaque fois chez alessi, arrivé 1 mois après la date prévue, mais de bonne qualité.

Ho-hum, good looking, not that great. I prefer a dedicated pepper mill.

Muy bonito, con un tamaño menor al que esperaba, pero poco funcional, ya que las guindillas, por muy secas que estén, no se trituran tanto como para poder pasar por el agujero sin atascarse. Y si aprietas con mucha fuerza para poder triturarlas más, se abre la tapa y se sale.Como casi todo lo de ALESSI, el diseño prima sobre la funcionalidad. Es decoración más que nada.
