Q.MaxSheet Metal Punch - 20mm QMA20M

Worked at treat in cutting a 20mm hole in a Buffalo 40L boiler. The only downside was the instructions which were not very clear to someone who has not used something like this before. I first thought the cutting action was the rotation but when I checked on YouTube I found it was a compression cut with no rotation.Overall very happy and would recommend.

Great product. Perfect for nice clean holes in metal fabrics. I use it for ceiling tiles and trucking ect and always does a better job than a hole saw

I started using "Q.Max" chasis cutters over 50 years ago, so there's not a lot I can say about the product; they're still my favoured brand.This particular cutter was used to cut holes in polished steel electrical socket blanking plates, in order for the holes to receive a standard plasterbox rubber grommet.Always remember to take the tension off by giving an half-turn backwards every so often, and keep the cutter thread well lubricated!

I have used Q.max punches for many years, use with cutting paste & these will work well even with 1mm stainless steel.

Used these years ago when I was a sheet metal worker, so when I needed to cut hole today the brand was a natural choice. Not used it yet but have no doubt it will cut a perfect hole with the same ease as all these others so many years ago.

Dose a good job works very well on thin steel where a tank cutter would make a mess the needs a 10mm to work

Strong hole punch, cuts a clean burr free hole. Brilliant for sheet metal.
