Spanish Guitar Music

Long time enthuisiast of Spanish flamengo and classical guitar this CD will take you effortless to hot dry visions of what Spain really has to offer AND the incredible virtuousity of John Williams. I bought this CD for my grandson who plays lead guitar in a rock band and writes his own music to extend and inspire his own repetiore but he was already there. Aged 16yrs and at the grunt stage he loved every track and every minute. This is a must have CD for every collect. Thoroughly recommended.

How can you criticise John Williams playing classical guitar pieces? If you have no classical guitar pieces in your collection this is a good place to start - otherwise a bit 'more of the same' but cheap at least, and well played of course.

Very difficult to rate this one correctly as it has not been opened and played yet. It was bought as a present for the same person the Earl Scruggs CD was bought for. They love the Earl Scruggs CD so much that they have not opened this one yet.They do like John Williams though so it should be enjoyed when it is eventually listened to.

This is the first and only John Williams CD that I bought. I thought that this was an easy listening album similar to Govi, Behzad, Ottmar ...etc.Turns out that this album is of John Williams playing classical music. He is a talented guitarist and plays really well. I did not appreciate the music selection though. This is an album that I will store with the other CD's and listen to occasionally, not something to put in the car and use as background music.Not a bad album, but not what I thought.

Excellent just what I wanted

I wrote the headline as I'm an avid lover of Fingerstyle guitar as played by Chet Atkins, Merle Travis etc. but these excellent recordings of purist classical style not totally my taste as I preferred Julian Bream who was not so fixed on playing as on page, are nevertheless superb classical recordings.

Williams at his best! - Tolle Stücke, fantastisch interpretiert. Unglaublich.

J'avais déjà deux autres CD de ce brillant interprête qui m'a une fois de plus enthousiasmé. Si vous n'avez rien de lui, ce disque est parfait pour apprécier un musicien de plus de 40 ans d'expérience et de virtuosité.

I bought this for my father - wish someone would buy it for me. John Williams is a guitar god. This is sexy good music!
