These are made from what appears to be a brittle plastic. That said, they are perfectly adequate for drawing with. Whether or not they would stand up to rough use by children is debatable but used as intended there shouldn't be a problem. I received them promptly and in good condition. More than happy with the quality when you consider the price. Incidentally the ones I received were different to the ones in the picture. The ones I received were similar to the Helix french curves that are also available on Amazon. Probably produced by the same manufacturer. The Helix set are dearer.

It is not exactly as in the picture. It has mor markings, so that is not a bad thing.The order also arrived really fast.The Curves are made from a very good and durable Material. If i needed to I would buy these again.

I do actually like this, yes it's flimsy, but it's what I needed. However, longest piece was snapped, probably due to ham fisted postman, no doubt. Although it wouldn't take much to package it with a strip of stiff card, maybe.

Great price and just what I needed. I like to up do furniture and these came in very handy, not just for paper but can be used to stencil wood before using a jig. packaged well arrived promptly.

Very flimsy but what do you expect for the price. They do the job and that's the important thing.

I have always drawn freehand, but for those with little confidence or new to pattern drafting they are a useful tool, mostly use the largest which seems to fill all my curve needs
