At the moment I’ve the devices only under test conditions (to learn more about functionality) so far I can report the first findings.The GPS localization is absolutely great. Here I can give 5 stars.But:The documentation is poor, not all orders are mentioned, some in a wrong context. The most negative point is the consumption of electricity is enormous. About 80mA in case of normal state (90 – 95 mA during processing orders).That means you need 0,08A*24h*30days= 57,6Ah per month.For a convertible car not user during winter time without power network no way.The reference manual speaks about a shock sensor, but there is no one inside. I bought an external shock-sensor separately. Not expensive but in my opinion essential and a must for the scope of supply. With this sensor you can put the device into sleep (after 5Min of no shock detection). In this status the power consumption is 22 – 24mA that means0,023A*24h*30days = 16.56Ah per month. Also not good, but much better than 57AH.
