Arrived promptly. Nice red colour with soft coating. Directions take a few minutes to understand, but easy enough and I was up and running in very little time.Comfortable to use and YES it works. Probably, of all the neck pillows for travel that I have used, this one was the second most comfortable. The very absolute best, was a specially contoured memory foam pillow - but that does take up more space.However - and it is a BIG HOWEVER. About 2 hours into a 7 hour flight from St Lucia to London, it developed a leak. I had definitely not mis-treated it in any way and can only assume it was a quality issue. The seams are re heat glued - no more - and with minimal input, it would seem.But those 2 hours gave me some idea that if this was just bad luck, it would be worth trying again.So, undeterred, I purchased a replacement for my next transatlantic flight - an 11 hour night flight from LA to London. This time, things even worse. Removed the little thing from its packaging and the moment I blew in to the valve, the valve flew off. Just a great gaping hole now. Without the valve, of course, not one iota of air can remain.I regret, these incidences were too much for me. Yes, I could have been *really* unlucky twice over - or it could be that these things are great but only for a very short time. Quality on both mine just really poor.My solution: take a little less luggage and make room for my memory foam neck pillow, which is reliable as an old pair of comfy flannel pyjamas. Sleep tight.

A bit expensive for the product. Still looking forward to use it on my next flight.

It packs down small and light to carry and inflates quite easily. There's a handy button to press to release some air, so blow it up firmer than you think you'll need, put it on and then let a bit of air out to get it to the pressure you're comfortable with. I didn't find that hooking the rope/string over the seat worked for me, but it was fine around my shoulder and it proved effective in supporting my head and neck. Obviously it's not going to give you the best night's sleep ever, but it will make things easier and I think it's better than the bulky polystyrene bead-filled cushions you see people dragging about.

This is one of those products that you initially look at and think "why would i get this when i could just buy the travel pillows that go round the neck for just a few quid?" BUT THEN you read all the positive reviews and think "lets take a chance and see what all the fuss is about" and once you receive it (very promptly as well i might add), you don't regret it! You understand why it has such great reviews! You appreciate the quality and soft material of the product and how quickly and easily it inflates and deflates and you send the maker of the Travelrest pillow blessings for creating such a practical and convenient product when you're using it whilst sitting on a plane for 8 hours WITHOUT GETTING NECK CRAMP!!I think it's fair to say i would DEFINITELY recommend it!

As a frequent long haul passenger that can't afford to fly business class I have always struggled to get comfortable on planes, the standard round the neck type cushion does nothing to help at all plus they are really difficult to inflate and deflate, I was a little sceptical about the travelrest travel pillow but with about 20 long haul flights coming up next month I thought it was worth a try, I am so glad I did, it is actually easy to inflate and change the softness of the pillow to suit yourself it is really comfortable, you can sleep in a more natural sort of position, made even more pleasant by adding the cover, it is also very easy to complete deflate and drop back in your bag. I highly recommend this product. Also a very helpful company to deal with.

Initial doubts about this pillow were soon dispelled after its first use. Three "puffs" and the pillow was fully inflated and ready for use. I used the "over the shoulder" configuration shown in the product listing and was quite amazed how comfortable the pillow was. I can only compare it to a high-winged chair where you can snuggle into wing. I slept quite deeply and woke without the usual aches and pains I've experienced in my neck with other travel pillows. The large one-way valve meant deflation was oh so simple and the pillow was soon rolled up and stored away with minimal fuss.

Use this to supplement headrest on husbands wheelchair when travelling as he tends to fall asleep on longer journeys - stops head flopping to one side - have one for each side.
