Is NOT green! Is TEAL
Other than the misguided color, I like this case, it was my third choice for design.

Foolproof operation, even without reading the instructions.
The Yamind Pulse Oximeter presents something of a paradox. The illuminated display is large and extremely easy to read, but I needed a magnifier to read the tiny print on the instruction sheet. Not that instructions were really needed, though.I inserted two AAA batteries (borrowed from a flashlight), paying attention to the +/- markings in the battery compartment. Next, I simply inserted a finger into the unit. There is no on-off switch, so the display came on immediately, and my numbers appeared within seconds.. Only then did I start looking around for a magnifier to belatedly read the instructions. Now, I’ve never used one of these before, so if I could get results so quickly without instructions, then anybody can. That said, I’d still recommend having a magnifier available if you want to read the documentation.Minus one star for tiny print and not including batteries with the product. There’s absolutely nothing else that I’d want changed.

Not accurate
I got this to match my ihealth thermometer for work and was super excited to get this, but I noticed that it’s not accurate. It doesn’t go above a 96 O2. I’m disappointed that I can’t use it for work now.

White led, auto on when finger in and , auto turn off within seconds when finger is out
Standard IR measurement of heart rate and SpO2 using finger clip form factor. It has a bright white led - it's very hard to capture with a bad web cam (sorry!) but that's the best focus I could get with a cheap webcam. It takes 2 AA battery and despite it require 3V and consuming 120mW it can operate on two eneloop lithium ion rechargeable batteries at 2.4V! Does the voltage affect the accuracy? No, the measurement is done by diodes - and diode either are either on or off - and as long as they get the voltage they need (often called the turn on voltage) then they operate fully and completely without needing any more voltage.Anyways, I wanted a monitor to wear while I go on the elliptical that is bright and easy to use. Get one if you plan to do some aerobic exercise and hate chest straps - which can't tell you spO2%.

Works good and great price, but wish it had a rechargable battery
Works great, looks good, very very simple to use. Price is great.Wish it had a rechargable battery that you can charge it via USB. You have to use batteries which becomes a little bit of a pain.

Accurate but VERY slow
I bought this for nursing school and though it’s aesthetically pleasing, it takes over 60 seconds to show a number after first turning it on. It’s accurate at least (compared to my Apple Watch) but it’s just not gonna work for nursing school
