Sturdy, good size drawing board
Very pleased with this, am new to calligraphy so trying to collect the basic kit so to speak. Good size and quality. Carrying handling also props it up and there are grips to hold it to the edge of your desk or table. Just what I wanted. Thank you.

Not what I expected
This board is marketed as a hardwood board but the only hardwood is the edging of the board. The board itself is melamine coated MDF. I could have lived with that but the board that arrived had numerous nicks and small gouges in the surface so not great as a drawing board. I am using it to hold watercolour paintings instead because the nicks and flaws have no impact. Overall, the design is decent with the gripper on the back holding the edge of the table. well. I find the supporting legs a little long making the angle a little steep but that is just personal preference. Rather expensive for what it is and, in hindsight I would have been better served buying a sheet of hardwood ply. I can’t really recommend this board as I think it is too expensive and has too many flaws.

Perfect for Calligraphy
I needed a writing slope for calligraphy, this is perfect. Can be stored flat, is very light, sets up in about three seconds, completely stable on worktop and the non slip writing surface is excellent. Definitely recommend.

Very good
Fantastic. Big enough to use with larger sheets of paper. Nice and strong. Stands up well and feels very secure when using the rubber grips for angling against an edge. I’m really very pleased with it.

Artcoe large board, easily adjustable
Best of the lot! Easy to carry and sets up in seconds. Adjustable with grips on the underside which slot onto the table edge. Don’t get the cheaper varieties which have wooden rungs, simply wrong! Also you don’t need a bottom rail, it gets in the way. For art and calligraphy this is the one!

Returned as poor quality for the money. Better boards are available. I made my own for fraction of price
