Strikeworth 7ft Multi Games Table with Red Cloth

We bought this multi games table tor Xmas 2015 for our 3 teenage children. Although the company phoned to say they would deliver the table in the evening it didn't actually arrive until 10.15pm and we were a little apprehensive as the packaging had been damaged by the plastic tape cutting through the outer cardboard and the inner polystyrene so it was touching the table, also there were footprints on the cardboard indicating it had been walked on, however when we removed the packaging the table was fine. Fairly straightforward to assemble although there was no pilot holes in the leg section so I had to drill these out myself as the wood was too hard to screw directly into. We chose the 7ft version as We thought they would get a better playing experience although the room was slightly smaller than recommended for playing pool, we overcame this by using shorter cues and placing the table diagonally in the room. Table tennis is fine although the net posts could be better designed as they lean inwards, they come with little rubber pads which we now think should have been stuck on the table but as there were no instructions for these we stuck them onto the posts but when we put the posts on the table the rubber pads came off. Air hockey is fine and works really well, plenty of air to cushion the puck and really fast, one thing they could have done was make the goals slightly bigger as it is quite difficult to score. Pool table also very good, really easy to flip the table over, just make sure the levers are pulled right back or the table will catch on them, I didn't realise just how big the balls and pockets were being the American version but for novices of Pool I think this helps, cloth very good and fast, only one disappointment really and that is the cushions, they make a point of saying that the cushions are made of the same rubber as professional tables but we found them a bit hard and unresponsive which was a bit annoying as that was one of the reasons for choosing this particular table. Overall good value for money considering you get three games in one. I recommend if you can, that you go for the 7ft version.
