I got this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas.As you’ve guessed she hasn’t got it yet, obviously! But I have opened it and put it up to check for sturdiness and to check for imperfections and to make sure all the accessories are there.The box it arrived it in was very heavy, and the wooden pieces were all nicely wrapped up in soft tissue paper to protect the wooden set.Well, the wood of the house seems sturdy enough. The side walls are thinner wood, but still it looks really nice with the coloured design on it.My wood has small indentations into the wood, very small imperfections which at first annoyed me because currently this massive house is £100!This needs some assembling but it seems simple enough (the wife put ours up)It’s a very tall toy indeed. The accessories on the box picture look much better quality and more crisp than the ones we received.The draws on the box on the downstairs are white on the box, but we received a purple set.It may seem like a small gripe, but this is expensive. The telescope again seems less glossy than the one on the box, the television Ariel on the box is also a glossy silver as the one we received is jet black.I’m disappointed in many ways, I hate false advertising. It may seem small to gripe over such things, but it is our money we part with.Don’t be put off by my review, I’m just being honest. It’s probably not worth the money, but it is a lovely and HUGE toy and it seems well made. It’s probably the most accurate Peppa Pig house I’ve seen to date and the best made.I’d say if you have the money spare, go for it.If you check the picture you will notice when you purchase this that the accessories look a little different as I stated before.But complain about imperfections because this is expensive!To further add that the noise and music sounds a little ‘tingy’ and a smidge cheap.Also to add you don’t get Mummy or Daddy pig as printed on the box.I hope your crazy Peppa loving kids love this toy.According to Amazon, this toy is suitable for children aged 36 months til 99 years, so if you’re a centenarian (100 year old or over) you won’t be to play with this toy apparently!Thanks for reading.Ps. The figures in the set (Daddy Pig wizard etc don’t come with this set, they’re my daughters :) )

This house took hours to build nothing lined up very poorly made

So I put this together Christmas Eve to surprise my 3yr old daughter on Christmas morning. Although she likes it, I wasn't that impressed with the fact that there was a tear on the roof (see pic), the arieal never stands up right and there appears to be an extra hole in the back board in the loft play room (see pic). Why? That hole is not shown on the box nor the instructions. It's just an extra hole...I also had trouble aligning the pieces due to a grove not being machined well and causing an obstruction that I had to correct with a Stanley blade (after having to take it all apart again!).Took me over an hour to construct fully but as I said, my 3yr old doesn't notice the small issues but for £70, I expected a little better.Still, if your child is a Peppa Pig manic like mine, they will love it.

Great dollhouse themed around Peppa pig

hi i don't often write a review, thought find other reviews helpful. Am oved to doing so, having purchased the doll house as the 2 window frames were so far from being the right shape/size that I thought they had the wrong parts. Ended up sellotaping them to the frame and enjoying the gaps (!). The house itself is pretty basic and relatively sturdy, though for the price it's over priced. THe rooms are poorly designed. Am not saying 'don't purchase', just saying don't have high expectations.

Given the size of the box I never realised this wasn’t already pre-assembled. When trying to build, a number of the pieces / holes don’t like up and as a result ended up damaging some parts. The top bedroom window doesn’t fit the hole (I seen the same complaint on another review) and a number of parts of it are not well made at all. My 2 year old son loves it and the effort to complain and sent it back would be far too much hassle - but it’s absolutely not worth the money, I would have expected much better quality for the price paid.

This is a lovely piece but missing all windows and few accessories

Took a while to assemble but straight forward enough. Unfortunately, the window for Peppa’s and George’s room does not fit (the window hole has been cut too large for the plastic window) so there’s a gap down the side and the window keeps falling out. Considering the price, it’s a bit shabbily -made and there are only two figures (Peppa & George) included. You’d think the manufacturer would include Mummy and Daddy Pig as Peppa and George aren’t the only occupants. Had my grandchild not been so excited to receive this toy, I’d probably return it.
