Looks a little 'plastic/cheap'. However its for my young grand daughter and sure she will like the bright colours etc. A birthday gift so I've not opened it.

Much sturdier and lovier than expected. Granddaughter loves playing with it.

We bought this for a 3 year olds birthday present it was great value at £15. The songs are not irritating like other musical toys and kids love that it responds to them opening the lid and asks them to brew more tea. The cakes help kids recognise fruits and colours and my kids have the set without the stand and have played with it since they were 1 (now 4 years old) so it is a toy that will entertain for years and is robust enough to handle long term use. I dropped a star on sturdiness for this version just because the stand seemed a bit shaky to me but even if that breaks after a year or so it wouldn’t ruin the enjoyment of tea and cake.

I bought this for my Granddaughter and Grandson 22month old twins for Christmas. I can highly recommend, they were delighted with it and have already had great fun with it. The sounds the teapot makes made everyone laugh and it wasn’t long before they were handing the pieces of cake out on plates they had also been given. Very good purchase will last them a long time.
