Just the job - for tarp shelters and regular sized hikers
I am 5ft 9inches and find that the poles inspire confidence when extended to the marked interval of 1m25.They extend to a maximum of 1m35, at which length they become a little less rigid.I fully expect them to be fit for purpose for me as walking poles and for impromptu tarp-tent shelters.If you are six foot plus then you may be better off trying before you buy.
