Interactive? not sure. Perfect maybe?
My first impressions of gobone out the box were man.... this thing is built. Who's dog ate this? I have a curr/pitbull and she can chew through things but not this! The plastic is dense and solid.Putting gobone together was a snap! literally. Anyone of all ages can assemble this product. And or charge or clean. The build of this device is near perfection. Materials used and design were well thought out. This is what a mainstream commercial product feels like when you put gobone together. I dont need instructions, it takes only seconds to understand how the wheels fit.I did have a problem with my gobone though. It got stuck in a strange firmware glitch. customer support was slow, and honestly, wasn't all that helpful. Fortunately, the gobone died after 5 days, and then it finally took the update. So it did work... I think this was a rare experience, but customer support ... eh prob not that great. (it's like snail mail) not email! It took my dog time to get used to gobone .. really only a few days. she was scared at first. And we didnt understand the interactive mode just yet.... (even the fast setting is slow but its about the treats)She got used to the gobone once she realized I put food into the tires.. it took a few tries for me to find the right things to wedge in there... LOL i tried peanut butter! It was amazing and the wheels are easy to clean. Now that she know treas are in the wheels I finally figured out how to stick things inside the tires without it coming out. The lip or edge of the tires locks things into place and you really can make things difficult if you want. By the way... the peanut butter... only used water to clean the wheels... it was like a non-stick surface. Or.. really the tires feel like a drain plug.. like that weird durable kind of plastic..Once we got treats going right on the human side... my dog was so down to figure this out. She was still scared of the gobone moving so i just left it alone dead... or just simple gave her the tires. This at least got her into the idea ok i can get stuff out if i try hard enough...Once there, she started to play with it in manual mode... gobone can travel on carpets very well... its speed i give it a 6.5... but my dog is bent down trying to grab at the tires and get treats... so its fast enough. Honestly, manual mode is super fun. Its not to bad driving once you get the hang of it. At first it's hard but if u just drive straight then turn... much easier.... gobone honestly is the most fun i have had with my dog rivaling the laser. Only down side is the batery only lasts for so long. we have so much fun we need two.Now back to the interactive mode.. its slow! but the point is for her to get the treats... and humans can put them in there good! I stuffed some treats in once and realized I myself could not get them out! But my dog will lick the wheels to death trying. She found new ways over the past few days... including shake the gobone... or now even approach the tires from the side and bit down in between the wedge. She even got to the point of trying to just bit the whole tire for some reason. But now she is really devising a way to dislodge said treats.... so this will soon become a cat and mouse game for me and her... So interactive mode keeps her going but i think if the gobone moved to much it would loss to much battery. Manual mode only last 30 mins. or so.. but again not the point... she is trying to get the treats out. It will get stuck quite often. I have nothing in my living room and the only chari i have it manages to get stuck to were both it nor the dog can free the gobone. All in all this is our fav toy .. and we have a petcube, wickedbone, and varram.ok petcube def wins! gobone you get a solid 2nd.But this is like a safe RC car i can play with my dog... leave it at home for her to play kinda... but she can chew and munch on the tires all day getting just a few treats... and the bonding mode (manual) is amazing...By the way.. my tires seem just fine with ZERO damage... Please show me ur dog and how it broke this thing? I dont know if i can cut this with a decent steak knife!

Lots of fun, breaks easily
My dog loves this toy. Unfortunately after 10 days, the mechanism that turns one wheel isn’t working. It gets stuck. I expect a $100 dog toy to last a little longer. It has only been used for a total of 5 hours on carpet.

Pretty good, but could be better.
OK...The good:-The bluetooth connects very easily and stays connected well as long as you keep the app open. The app is extremely simple and easy to use. Like, brain-dead easy.-It drives like a little ATV. It rolls over some decent sized objects (all laminate flooring here), such as socks, small toys, and a 4ft rubber snake coiled up. --It goes faster than I expected. I can shoot it across the room in just a few seconds.-The autoplay feature works pretty well. It has a nice mix of tricks it does. I haven't used it enough to see what kind of adjustments it makes because Buddy doesn't stay interested long when it isn't moving constantly. On autoplay it'll do something then sit for 10 seconds or so at a time.-It's very easy to take apart and reassemble, and easy to charge, and the battery lasts as long as advertised and will hold a charge well over the course of a few days. The (sort-of) bad/could be better--It's a bit of a challenge to learn to drive smoothly. I gave up on the arrows pretty quickly and after a half hour to an hour of practice I was able to navigate pretty well with the circle control. It's very sensitive, and not just a forward/back/rotate in exact positions. It moves with fluidity and very gradual speed intensity and you really have to finesse the circle to do it with precision.--It's really not great for small dogs. It's not advertised really clearly but I kinda figured this going in because my guy is 5lbs and it's hard enough just to get a collar, much less any other toy. He thinks he's a wolf though, so he'll go after it, but MOSTLY only when I have something tied to the back of it. It's pretty well designed for pulling things around, and it's JUST strong enough that I can work the toy out of his mouth if I get a little run of speed. He doesn't, however, have a mouth big enough to really treat it like a bone. I think a dog would need to be at least 15lbs to be able to wrangle it around properly. A big dog would probably have a blast with this thing. A smaller version would be cool. I think a small dog would be less intimidated. The first time I fired this thing up Buddy went NUTS, barking, growling, running around like a spaz. I finally lured him in with a treat and found that his desire for a treat trumps his desire to not be killed by a robotic foreign object.-**MY REAL BEEF(s)** No WIFI. I knew this ahead of time, but I REALLY want a way to engage him when I'm not home and he's chillin in his 10 x 5 gated area in the house while we're at work. I'm still trying to figure out a way to remote desktop phone to phone and see if I can keep something connected to it at home throughout the day, but to activate the bluetooth on the phone you have to bump it a couple times so it'll wake up. I can't bump it from 35 miles away. It would be nice to be able to take a break and get him active for 5 or 10 minutes at a time.--AUTOPLAY IS NOT PROGRAMMABLE IN SEGMENTS. I'd like to be able to set it to kick on at a certain time and I was under the impression that it would do so based on the ad. I feel like it should be more specific. I check on him via Furbo every couple hours and he's usually awake around 1pm. I'd like to be able to set the Go Bone to kick on then, and maybe an hour later, etc. Granted, you can set it to kick on an off for up to 8 hours, but I don't want him to be awake all day long. I feel like they could set this up pretty easily, although I'm not sure if the bone has the ability to wake itself up or if it stays fully powered on when it's taking breaks between play time.Overall, it's pretty fun. I fire it up for a few minutes almost every evening. I got it used on amazon for about $100. I would not have paid $200 and wouldn't still unless maybe it went Wifi capable (like Furbo. Seems simple enough?). But, if you're looking for something to keep your dog entertained while you're home, it's pretty good.

Interesting in Concept but Personal Play Not as Advertised
Interesting in concept but not quite there in execution. My dog warmed up to it (takes a while, the "bonding" method helps) and did find it interesting to play with... however, it's supposed to have "personalized play", and I did not find that to be the case. When in automatic mode, you can simply select the speed at which you want the bone to move. Even on the highest speed, the bone would often just sit there for extremely long periods of time. I would have to turn it off of automatic mode and restart it again for it to reengage my puppy. The only way I would consider this personalized play is if he were asleep. Additionally, in manual mode, you basically have the option to spin the bone right or left. What about just move it forward and back? Takes way too much coordination. Finally, this bone is the perfect size to go under all sorts of bar stools, coffee tables, beds, etc. Difficult to keep it out in the open which is just annoying. All that being said... returning the product.
