Q: Have metal shavings come out with the meat?

So far, I have not encountered this situation, the ground meat looks great. This little guy has run flawlessly, no complaints here.

Q: Can it grind the chicken? I want to make some raw food for my dog.

I used chicken to make raw food for my cats. It grinds the chicken very smoothly. I also use it to grind the beef and pork to make hamburgers. This does the job good work horse !! But I don't recommend putting bones in a machine, because grinding bones will shorten its useful life.
