Pleasantly surprised it taste a bit like syrup. Haven’t noticed any change, but believe in the power of mushrooms.

Does taste good. Hoping I notice a fungi-ness benefit to my day!!!!

Its is difficult to tell how much these product really absorb however the amount of types mushroom in this product is amazing. The method used to extract the mushroom is an alcohol type which is fine especially seeing as they remove most, almost all of the alcohol. There is no taste of it whatsoever.

Seems to increase my alertness, productivity, and overall mood so far. Only started yesterday though, so time will tell for sure.The taste isn’t unpleasant…really, I can barely taste a dropperful in a cup of water. Added to juice or something, it totally disappears.My husband is too afraid to try it, because he’s played too many video games (especially the one about evil fungi). Hopefully we’ll turn him, in time (*tapping fingers together villainously*). I tried to explain to him what extracts were, and about the long, specialized evolution of cordiceps, but he was having none of it.Seriously, though, it seems like good stuff. I’ll update this review if I change my mind.

I am happy with the selection of mushrooms and the fact that they are organically grown. The serving size is 1 mL (about one dropper full), but one full squeeze gets about 0.5 mL. The taste is a little bit medicinal, I think from the alcohol, with a sweet aftertaste from the glycerin. Not unpleasant. The alcohol is removed to less than 1%. The expiration date is 11/2/24, over a year from the time of writing this review.Most supplements tend to have Suggested Use instructions separate from the Supplement Facts with more information about dosage, such as how many times to take it in a day. The only dosage information on the bottle is in the Supplement Facts section.The Supplement Facts does not specify any quantity for the extract, not even for the blend of mushrooms, which is pretty crucial information, since without it you have no idea what quantity of mushrooms is going into this supplement.While the product description and the bottle label do not specify which parts of the mushrooms are used, the FAQs section of the seller's website states, “While we use mostly fruiting bodies, mycelium also offers benefits. In our Fantastic Fungi Mushroom Drops, we include mycelium for a full-spectrum product with added benefits. Other products use mycelium that’s grown quickly (yielding a product that’s mostly substrate). Ours grow for months to allow the mycelium to consume the growth material. We then triple-extract both fruiting bodies and the mycelium for potency and bioavailability.” Mycelium does offer benefits, just nowhere near as many as the fruiting body. And mycelium does consume the grain as it grows, but it does not completely remove all of the grain and still contains starch.I tested this product by mixing it with iodine. If starch is present, the iodine will turn the starch black. While this extract did not turn black, it did darken into a brown that was darker than the iodine and the extract, leading me to believe this contains a small amount of starch.I’m pretty happy with the results of taking this supplement, but would like to know how much mushroom extract I am getting in a dose, as well as the ratio of fruiting body to mycelium.

I love that it's USDA Certified Organic and made in North America.I am taking this supplement for cardiovascular, gut and skin health, antioxidant and immune support, cognitive well-being, as well as, mood balance.This great-tasting extract is vegan, with a base of organic glycerin (made from coconut and flax).This is so easy to take. Bioavailability is outstanding in liquid form. Excellent quality and effective supplement.
