Shaledig 26 foot Pole Saw Limb Cutter
This pole saw performed great for around the house and clearing limbs around tree stands. Only reason 4 stars is because of dislikes noted below.Here are the likes:- Easy to use and assemble.- Blade is extremely sharp when cutting limbs.- Hook on the end of blade makes it easy to secure to limb before cutting.- Perfect for extending at different heights when needed.- Carrying bag works great when in remote woods. Can carry over the shoulder or secure to ATV.- Second bag for blade is added safety when removing from bag.- Easy to swap out the blade with limb cutter.Here are the dislikes:- Be ready to purchase lock nuts for the blade and wing nuts for the metal sleeve that goes over the pole. They fell out after minimal use.- There’s a lot of overall bow when you connect all pieces together. It works great with all but the last 2 pieces screwed together.Overall pleased with this saw.

Flexible poles
The product works great until you have to use more than 3 poles. After 3, it becomes flexible making it hard to use.Wish the poles were a. Little larger in circumference. I think that would get them from bending.Love that it comes in a compact carry case.PS. Glue the handle on. It sides right off.

Where's the blade and the connecting section?
I bought the 26' pole, thinking it would contain a blade and the section that connects the blade to the other part of the pole. I was wrong. Now I'm trying to buy JUST the section that attaches the blade to the rest of the device. This is a Shaledig part, but I can't find the information or part anywhere. Ideas? Thanks in advance!

Exactly as marketed
This just arrived today. It is very solid, comes in a sturdy bag, the blade(s) - yes it comes with two - in a separate sturdy holder.I haven’t used it yet. I’ll update this after I do.First impression is that this is a quality product. It’s rather heavy and using it with all attachments is how I plan to use it, or try to use it 😂In short I’m happy so far with quality especially for the price.

For vertical cuts, it works great. For horizontal cuts, it's nor very sturdy
Sharp blades. Awkward at times to use, since each added length makes it less sturdy. Good value. It got the job done.

Dysfunctional ,defective saw attachment
The media could not be loaded. The saw detached while trimming normal size queen palm .It’s difficult to see how this saw was attached to pole since it came off with normal workmanship.

Did its job
My tree had a lot of dead branches and I did not have a big budget to hire a professional. I was able to do the job myself and saved tons of money.

This thing is great !
Love this pole saw ! FYI I am a 5ft tall 70 y/o woman. Unlike telescoping saws these sections work so much better ! If I don't need the height I can make it much lighter weight. I am VERY careful with the blade - light oil after each use. Works best if you can find a place on the limb that is straight & mostly parallel to the ground. Sometimes sections of the pole work a bit loose & need to be re-tightened. Highly recommend.
