The Dreams We Made

This picture book is a real gem – the illustrations are gorgeous, and it tackles a tough topic in a way that's just right for little ones. Plus, it's an awesome debut novel that nails the balance of beauty and sensitivity.

The story is universal. At some point in everyone’s life, we have to face the loss of a loved one. How do we give our children hope?. How can we build our own strength to carry on? Lisa has come up with a wonderful way to transition from pain to lasting happy memories. I loved it.

The Dreams We Made is a book with so much heart. Its sensitive and important and will be the perfect conversation starter. I loved Lisa's illustrations and the teeny tiny toilet rolls along with Space Ted have my whole heart. Cannot wait for her next book.

Very well written story, kept children very interested and in deep focus. Come with fabulous pictures too. Good for any child but especially for those that struggle with a loss
