Hubsan H501A X4 Air Pro BRUSHLEES WIFI Quadcopter Drone App compatible GPS 1080FHD Camera Autimatic Return Altitude Hold

This is a top notch drone at a really good price point. Bought as a shared purchase with my son and after much research in to a sub £200 drone with HD camera, we were not disappointed. Although my son (25) was very proficient out of the box it took me (55) a wee bit longer. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get my head round it but in a wide open field after about 10 minutes of flying I had got it - it is so easy to control and to be safe with (no crashes yet).We use the mobile app for flying and I was surprised at how easy it is to use - worried about what its doing then just take thumbs off of the screen and it stabilizes. Hit the return to home button and it comes home safely.Other than flying into something there really is nothing to worry about - it is all taken care of until you get more skilled when you can experiment and of course get some amazing shots from the on-board camera which is superb quality for this money. We are really happy with the purchase and have supplemented it with 2 more batteries for longer flying.

Great drone. Auto features very useful when learning to fly and you're getting a bit disoriented. Video is great, just remember to press the stop record button before disconnecting the battery or the files are saved but can't be read by media players ( there is a way round this if you check YouTube etc)Bought mine from jyz drone via amazon.co.uk and fulfilled by amazon. Was U.K. model with proper 3pin plug for the charger.There are reports out there that follow me mode not working. Mine has been fine. Also it will hold a steady hover in a fairly stiff breeze.Very pleased so far

This was a replacement for a 501S (that flew away). On it's first flights I was using it with the H904 controller and it was looking just fine. Was flying out to a distance of ~500m while maintaining video feed and perfect controller response.But flight #3 for some reason I will never know, it just blacked out on the controller screen and stopped responding, disappearing over a row of trees and into who-knows who's back yard. The drone was always calibrated, took off at 8+v, and was at over 7.5V on the battery when it went missing.Hubsan have been make new a variants on their drones very quickly - 501S, 501SS, 501A. I suppose that's innovation. But it doesn't make for a pleasant consumer experience.EDIT: 2018-08-27 I've upgraded this back to 4 stars. I recently tried a Mavic Air - a drone costing 4 times the price of this and the Mavic is nowhere near as much fun as the Hubsan 501S/A are.

Great Drone, good to start for the beginners. Nice quality/price. Excellent stability, Excellent video quality record. Can be controlled by the smartphone or with possibility to bind a radio control such as the Advanced controller to get more precisione. I recommend it

I bought this drone as a first flight experience, I must say it was very impressive! It’s very responsive and the return to home feature is an added bonus.. it also boasts a follow me feature to take perfect selfies! The drone is perfect for beginners and ideal for a first time drone

Been thinking on buying a drone for a while and when i finally splashed out and bought one and I wasn't disappointed with the H501A ... was able to fly straight out of the box, also the H501a is compatible with Husban H901 and H906a transmitter as well if you dont like using with phone, Overall all great drone with good feature eg: RTH ,battery fail-safes and way points

Best Hubsan for the price. Bought as a spare. If you don't like flying with apps and phones , don't worry it can be bound with all Hubsan FPV controllers, works with the H502s , H501ss FPV models basic controller which I own

After initial problems with the wrong SD card purchased a higher speed card. Have had great video results for such a small lens. Easily controllable and flies well with app

This drone is great, I had watched tons of reviews on this and I was still amazed at how good it flew within ten minutes of getting a box. My range was pretty good I used my iPhone alone and got about 100m and then tried the relay booster and my best so far is 440m with tons of WiFi and trees(I live in a large mobile home facility), for getting a great drone and booster this item is great, better range and handling and camera then I expected. I also purchased the ht011 controller which says range is 400m but I fly every day and my average range is 800+ giving what the weather is like.

Super drone pour mon troisième ,se pilote très facilement par rapport à mes 2 premiers ou je devais en permanence controler le vol.Petit bémol ,c'est la batterie qui ne dépasse pas 10 mn par rapport au 20 mn annoncées,.je suis mal tombé de ce coté là.Sinon le contrôle avec le smart phone est excellent , j'ai commandé un cache pour le soleil.Je recommande cet achat même aux novices.Vendeur très réactif ,reçu dans les temps, je recommande

El dron se corresponde con las descripción, pero este modelo, el 501a, NO TRAE MANDO. Se pilota a través del movil. Y no era lo que queria. Por los comentarios del producto se deducía que si lo incluía, aunque luego en la descripción no lo pone. Son comentarios de otro producto el 501s que si trae mando. Induce a error.

Der Quadcopter sieht gut aus, lässt sich gut fliegen und hat viel Funktionen. Die Bedienung per Smartphone anfangs etwas schwierig, vor allem wenn man wie ich noch nie eine Drohne eben über ein solches Gerät gesteuert habe. Doch nach kurzer Eingewöhnungszeit geht es ganz gut. Der Akku der Drohne hält wie versprochen ca. 20min, und die Flugeigenschaft finde ich auch klasse. Sie hält ihre Position wenn man sie in der Luft parkt auch wenn es etwas Windiger ist. Kamera ist ganz Okay, die Videoaufzeichnungen kann man sie durchaus anschauen, nur sollte man immer daran denken, dass die H501A keine DJI Phantom ist. Meine Lieblings Funktion, ist das abfliegen von Wegpunken, die man der Drohne per Smartphone übermittelt. L'avventura con Hubsan si è finalmente conclusa, dopo aver rimandato indietro 2 x4 desire pro per via di malfunzionamenti, ho preso questo quadricottero che è spettacolare! Fa tutto come promesso, stabile e veloce inoltre lo si potrebbe modificare per spingerlo oltre i limiti; un'assistenza clienti fuori dal normale perchè a distanza di più di un mese dall'acquisto mi si è rotta la presa usb di ricarica del relay, ho chiesto al venditore come potessi fare e mi ja rispedito a sue spese un altro trasmettitore, che dire, grande professionalità
