Black Therapy Lamp

We are all aware of the Cost of Living Crisis so cutting costs is an essential part of everyday living. In this regard I was surprised to see that the lamp was rated at F, one off the maximum highest rating. Whilst I appreciate the benefits of such a light, the costs of running it is far higher then energy efficient lights. Be warned.The light comes with a stand, power cable and instructions. First in the manual are 13 instructions as not what to do. That’s a ominous start to say the least.Next details of each component and specifications.Operation instructions are easy to follow.When switched on I was surprised as to high bright the light is and I understand the instruction, not to look directly at the light. Its that bright. However there are 5 settings which make the light dimmer and I settled on 25% which was easily enough for me.Timer can be adjusted and its recommended that the light is between 6 to 24 inches away from your face.On the plus side, it does seem to have an effect in that my daughter who works from home late times it for the final two hours of work and she says she does feel different in a positive way.

Easy to install and clear instructions, the design looks cool, nice brightness, different colours and brightness setting options, works well, quality product.

The design is stylish and modern; it's sturdy and seems to last a long time. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It's very bright—you shouldn't look directly at the light. You can adjust the brightness, which is great. However, at the lowest setting, it is still too bright for me. My only main grip is that the lamp is rated at F, so it's costly to use since it takes a lot of energy to run. Because of that, I use it limitedly, and I can't comment on its effectiveness or not.I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.

I don't think this is a great lamp. It's sturdy enough and the light and timer settings are very good but it can't be tilted and that makes it quite awkward to sit in front of if it's wanted as a therapy lamp. Not many items of furniture are the height that would let this be at face height for most people when sitting down and even if there was such an item of furniture people are not all the same height. To be a practical therapy lamp it needs a tiltable head. It makes a nice modern lamp in a bedroom or living room though.

This lamp has 3 colour temperatures and 5 brightness settings that can be changed using the buttons on the base of the lamp, making it versatile in the way it can be used; either as a reading light, night light or just a regular lamp.You're also able to change the timer, so it will switch off automatically after either 10/20/30/60 minutes, which is ideal to save energy if you're using it as a night light.The design is a little unusual and very contemporary. It has a plastic case but still feels strong and sturdy.All in all, it's a good lamp, but I'm not too sure what makes it a therapy light.I hope you found this review helpful.

This light therapy lamp is intended to be used up to 30 minutes daily and to be not closer than 15cm and not further than 60 cm away from you.Depending on the intensity setting and the distance it can be used for less or more time. The recommendation is to start off slow and to gradually increase the use time as well as the level of brightness and to use between 6am to 8pm. In my experience morning is best.On the bottom of the light (cue glasses) … you can set a timer and adjust colour temperature with 5 levels of brightness.It’s a nice stylish looking lamp that I have been encouraging my young teenage daughter to use daily, she suffers with low mood and anxiety, sleep disorders and skin outbreaks. Light therapy is known to help improve sleep, increase energy and with time lift mood.You should start to notice an improvement within a couple of weeks or even within a few days depending on severities. In my opinion I do believe, with daily regular use, that light therapy works and this lamp is lightweight, looks nice and with its compact size its no problem to move it from one place to the next, whether she is in the living room or in her room.

A lovely looking lamp that looks so modern and stylish and with winter and dark mornings/nights closing in this will be great.Not only does it look nice, it feels sturdy and has some good features.It has 3 colour temperatures and 5 levels of brightness which can be control at the base of the lamp.It has 4 optional timers of 10/20/30/60 minutes and will automatically then turn off. In addition, it also has a memory function so your chosen setting will be saved.All in all great lamp and would be happy to recommend. Can’t comment on value for money as currently there isn’t a price listed.
