I recently purchased the Brooklinen Luxury Percale Duvet Cover in King/California King Size, drawn by its reputation for quality. While the 100% cotton material feels good and initially seemed to promise durability, I soon encountered several issues that led to a less than satisfactory experience.Firstly, the duvet cover is surprisingly prone to damage, especially if you have pets. Even minimal contact with animal claws resulted in rips, which was a major disappointment considering the premium price paid. This lack of resilience is a significant drawback for anyone with pets at home.Moreover, the buttons attached to the duvet cover are of poor quality. They are cheaply made and were poorly sewn on, which resulted in them coming off easily. This is not something I expected from a brand like Brooklinen, known for their attention to detail and quality.Finally, the overall quality of the product did not meet the high standards I've come to associate with Brooklinen. Given the premium price of the duvet cover, I expected a product that would withstand normal usage better and maintain its integrity over time. Unfortunately, this was not the case.In summary, while the material of the duvet cover is satisfactory, the lack of durability and poor construction make it difficult to justify the high cost. This product is not up to the standards I expect from Brooklinen, and I would think twice before making another similar purchase

The quality of the cotton is excellent and I appreciate that there are ties at the inside corners to secure my duvet insert. It’s held up well to washing and kept is soft but crisp feel.

It’s cool but not cold. Perfect texture and temperature. Best feeling duvet cover I owned (even compared with pottery barn, west elm and crate and barrel ones I previously owned)

Clean crips white color. Super soft. Filled with a king size duvet and it’s so full and fluffy. Doesn’t wrinkle. Great value. Very durable.

First it’s $30-40 cheaper on the Brooklinen website but this duvet is no where close to being worth $150+. It’s not soft, doesn’t wash well as it gets very wrinkled, and even when you double knot the ties on alll four corners (which this should have 8 total ties at this cost), the cover still acts like a loose sheet. They slap this $150-$200 charge on a duvet cover that’s still manufactured in China. Save yourself money and just buy a cheaper $40-50 one and it’s the same. They also send some unnecessary tote bag with the cover when they should send a dryer bag instead to prevent wrinkles when washing.

While any duvet cover is a bit of a pain to install, this one is no worse and it fits well and is high quality. I like it!

I have had the duvet cover for less than six months and it is already coming apart. I follow all the washing instructions and have found the internal ties fallen off in the dryer. Expected much higher quality
