CasioMen's W96H-1AV Stainless Steel Sport Watch with Black Band

Originally bought the Casio F-1YER after looking at stopwatches for the gym and thought, "These watches are dam cheaper and I get date and time to boot & I loved these as a child!"The above mentioned watch was to small and went to my daughter who loves it just as I did at 8 years old. This watch, the W96H-1BV is the right size for me and does all that I could want in a watch. Date, time, stopwatch, alarm that you can set months in advance if you wish or simply just tomorrow.Also a great feeling of nostalgia as I lost my original one when 8!I'm very happy with it with a touch of sentimentality to it as well. I wish all of my buys were this cheap, work this well and leave me with a happy nostalgic feeling!Thoroughly recommend

This is a digital watch with a few additional handy features (stopwatch, alarm, time offset clock), that is inexpensive enough for me to feel comfortable using in more, er, hazardous situations without worrying about it getting damaged. The display has clear digits, and the backlight (a green LED in the bottom left corner) though not uniform does the job. It feels light and unobtrusive on the wrist, the band has sufficient flex, and the buckle is easy on the underarm. I can't fault its timekeeping precision: from the box I synchronised it to a radio-controlled clock, and over a month later it's still spot on to well under a second.

Good basic digital watch for less than £15. May be a little small for some men's wrists but relatively slim. Does what I want, water proof to 50m, good battery life and shows time and date on main screen. Easy to change time. There are stop watch, alarm and dual time functions. As with many digital watches the light does not work well. The LED is in the bottom left corner only and it is difficult read the time at night.The Casio watch I had before had the radio time set. This did not work well for me as I travel a lot. When out of good signal area watch kept resetting. Also battery life was poor always searching for time signal run battery down. So I am glad this watch is basic without radio time set.

A little bland but it does everything you need at a sensible price. Right time, date, stop watch and back light,with a ten year battery to boot. Why pay more. You don't get these features with a £200 + watch !Malcolm Place Crowborough

It's the second Casio watch of this style I bought. The first one lasted me for around 3 years, unfortunately died in an accident. It is a reliable watch. I have only two cons for it: one - numbers on the display could be a bit bigger or with better contrast, two - the strap could be a little softer, more elastic. Apart from that all good. It's fairly comfortable to wear all day, keeps time well, able to withstand taking a shower with it and spending all day outdoors at work. Just seems a little strange that in Europe you can get only the boring colours, the brighter ones have to be shipped from the USA.

Great Casio watch. Easy to set up, good price, keeps excellent time. Reservations about the resin watch strap as previous ones I have owned have broken far to early in the life of the watch.

Watch looks good, bigger than the regular Casio F-91 W with a sporty look. Nothing to dislike or complaint, can't really expect to have OMEGA quality and spend £15.. even though some people still do! LOL

Student PPL who needed a watch for "dead reckoning" navigation, this was recommended by my FI as it ticks all the boxes with spending more than necessary.This carries the Casio "Illuminator" brand which, historically, was an electroluminescent background which was really clear and easy to read in any conditions. This, however, uses a small led and lights the screen very unevenly. I'm only using it in daylight so not an issue for me really, but a little disappointing.
