Expensive but functional
We wanted to try this for the greenhouse to lift some seedlings off the ground and thereby making it harder for slugs to get at.For this purpose it is functional but it’s slightly heavier than we were expecting in terms of taking this on a hike but could for site camping as it’s reasonably portable.Solid and well made but nothing specialSturdy and takes enough weight for our use case and for basic camping needs.Basic but functional storage and carry case/pouch.

Very poor quality, I had to throw it away at the campsite as it wouldn’t close!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this at the beginning of the summer, but have only needed to use 3 or 4 times this year. Seemed great quality at first, but it sadly became evident that it’s very poorly made after more than a couple of uses. The latches on the side were misaligned and didn’t hook over from day one, but as this wasn’t much of an issue when it’s in use, I didn’t bother complaining. However, since then, the bolts that stick out for these latches have come loose and one has come out altogether and has been lost, so I had to buy new ones to hold the two pieces of the stand together. Since then, over just a few uses, the joints of the stand have seized up more and more (they were always very stiff to begun with) and now have locked out completely. No amount of WD40 has helped improve. It became increasingly difficult to open and then re-fold it. I’ve attached a video to demonstrate how it’s now impossible to fold back down and has completely given up the ghost (difficult to demonstrate with one hand, though!). The diagonal arms that bend and connect to the feet and base itself are completely locked out and would not bend again to allow the legs to collapse flat. No amount of pressure on the joint or grease made them move. This wouldn’t be so much of an issue if I was at home perhaps, although not ideal, I could just leave it out on the patio, but I couldn’t as I was packing up my camping gear to go home. After fiddling and trying to tease the joints to move so I could collapse it, nothing, so I tried brute force, it broke and I simply gave up and left it in the bin at the campsite, as it was not going to be fixable and I couldn’t physically fit it in the car to get it home again as it took up a huge amount of space when in closed. A total waste of both materials and money. I’m pretty angry about it to be honest, as it wasn’t cheap!
