A nice cake tester. Washes up well in the dish washer and does not rust

After a continually borrowing one of these that is decades old. I finally purchased one.It does the job it is designed to do.It is easy to clean.The steel seems of good quality and hasn't tarnished, or degraded with use and cleaning.

I had wanted a cake tester or skewer for years and in the few short weeks I have been using this one - it has already saved me from removing an undercooked cake from the oven several times or from leaving them to overcook. Simple but effective and at a very reasonable price, I look forward to many more months/ years of not having to guess if my cakes are cooked.

Very good size, small flat end to check the cake is cooked, no big holes in your cake, also a nice plastic holder which is easy to hold and find in a busy drawer

Sfter you try testing your cakes with knitting needles, a thin blade, you still can't beat the proper cake tester. Works eaach time. Very inexpensive too!

Can bend very easily, which is not great

A friend of mine gave me this, and first I thought "Nice, but I don't need this, I can use toothpicks or spaghetti".I couldn't be any more wrong. Why should I waste toothpicks or spaghetti, if I can use this? This is very useful, easy to clean, easy to store in a drawer, so it's a very good item to have.

Much better than using a knife as you don't end up poking large holes into your baked goods! The end is sharp enough to pierce, but not hurt yourself on. I used it to check if my chicken is good through too

Préparation d’un cake.

Tut was es soll. Sehr dünnes Material aber funktioniert trotzdem einwandfrei. Bei harter Brotkruste etwas aufpassen, aber dafür ist es eigentlich auch nicht gedacht. Von mir absolute Kaufempfehlung.
