I inherited a floor jack from a friend who passed away many years ago so when the saddle cracked at a weld point, which really surprised me, and fell off, I had to repair it. I actually did not even know you could buy replacement saddles. I had used it for a while without one too, but it's just not as safe without the saddle. I was surprised too at how much these things cost and was ready to buy one for about 3x the amount, plus a lot for shipping, until Amazon showed me another option. Price was great and it looked good and it came with the pad too.When I got it I was pleasantly surprised. It's actually a lot more solid than the one that broke. It is made from very thick metal and the weld joint is smooth and thick. The finish is nice too although I have no delusions about it's scratch and rust resistance properties. I mean it's a floor jack saddle right. It fit perfectly in the hole on the jack, which I did premeasure, and the rubber pad is a nice addition. The pad is no joke either - it's very thick and well made from a very dense solid rubber composite.I have had no reason to use the floor jack yet, but based on my experience and knowledge with shop tools, I have no doubt the saddle will last as long as the original...if not longer. Certainly as long as the ones that cost so much more. And it helped keep the memory of my best friend alive a little longer as well !!!

Bought this for my floor jack coz I lost the original saddle. The part that sits on the jack was smaller in diameter than the seat's hole. I had to wrap 3 strips of duct tape around this saddle's "butt" so it wasn't loose when seated on the jack. After that, it worked fine.

I gave this product 5 stars because the quality is good. However, i searched for a saddle for a black jack brand floor jack and this came up. The hole the saddles post fits into on my brand has a welded in 3/4" rod across it and this model saddle post doesnt have the milled out notch in it. The saddle wont fit the jack brand i have, the very brand i typed into the search box. Make sure you check the hole in your jack the saddle rest on/in! Im able to mill out the notch in the post but most people probably cant do that. The product is solid, the AI that linked this product to my brand name search sucks!

Bought as a replacement pad for my jack as I lost the saddle.They work well but be aware that the rubber will get beat up especially if jacking on pinch welds.
