XTRONS Optical Fiber Decoder Box Head Unit Replacement for Mercedes-Benz ML/GL/R Series

I got an gl 450 Mercedes Benz truck and it works great I finally got my radio back on lol with my new touch screen radio ❤️💪🏾

Perfect fit ! Amazing sound !I replace the head unit with an Alpine ILX-207 along with the Metra dash kit 99-9605B, Metra antenna adapter 40-EU10. You don't really need the wiring harness adapter since you will have to plug-in directly in to the OEM telephone power harness.Feel free to ask any questions if you need a walk through. :-)

Ike tje fact that it cost 500 dollars cheaper than the local stereo installation shops try to charge for it, and it works perfect.

I'm impressed with the unit, but the amp could be much louder though, but I guess I can flip the bill on a new amp since I saved $1000.

For some reason mine works great the first time you plug it up to the car once you turn the car off it won't come back on unless you disconnect the harness from the back and reconnect it manually that's or you leave the ACC and B+ cable hooked up to b+ all the time.. maybe mine is faulty I don't know I hope they send me another one because I don't want to drain my battery every day just to have this hooked up

My android radio and my 2006 R350 Harman Kardon speakers are working perfectly. My steeringwheel buttons are working as well!

This worked out perfect for our aftermarket upgrade to the Mercedes Command Center with the fiber optic. Everything works including steering wheel controls and stereo fade and balance.
