Lonely Planet Rocky Mountains & Pacific Northwest's National Parks (National Parks Guide)

Great for a west coast road trip
I got this book to have as a reference to national parks in Washington State that I'd like to visit. I love the fact that it's a condensed book that I can use as a quick planning reference. Even though there may not be as much detail as other guidebooks (as another reviewer mentioned), I really wanted high level info and suggestions on where to go and hike and this book is perfect for that. In total the book covers 10 state parks in the lower 48 plus 7 in Alaska. I honestly wish I'd had this when I did a west coast road trip in 2020!

Limited information
Not as detailed as I hoped and expected for a book dedicated to specific parks. Especially for Yellowstone and Grand Teton I would rather get the Lonely Planet dedicated to these two parks, as it contains more useful information and recommended hikes. Or get the one with all national parks as it has the same amount of info than this book. In my opinion this one isn't worth buying.
