Abandonment to Divine Providence

Wonderful, consoling, meditative advice.
Wonderful, consoling, meditative advice from The Rev. Jean Pierre de Caussade, one of the most remarkable spiritual writers of the Society of Jesus in France in the 18th Century. Father de Caussade’s advice to be patient and trust in God’s Providence is especially meaningful and consoling when things seem to go wrong in your life. Using his book as a meditative guide, you are reminded and reassured that there is Providential purpose in all the events of your life, the good as well as the “bad”.

Intense
Very intense. I am struggling through it because it was recommended by Father Spitzer. Think it will be worth the effort.

Great spiritual reading
Great spiritual reading, especially for Lent...easy to consume, very profound; and difficult, yet infinitely rewarding, to apply in everyday life.
