Fantastic product - I've already persuaded one of my friends to buy one too.Don't like having to haul a soggy, bulky and heavy towel with you when you have to go the gym or swimming? I certainly didn't and I had to take mine on a trek through London every morning which was starting to really annoy me, so I did some investigating and the reviews for this seemed good.First off, don't let the term "travel" fool you. I'd always assumed that "travel" meant small - this towel is bigger than a bath sheet. I'm a big girl and this towel covers me and then some. It is super absorbent - it used to take me forever to get dry in humid changing rooms. It still takes me longer than the average person but it certainly dries me much quicker! And when you're done it folds up into its tiny pocket where it takes up no space in the gym bag and doesn't get anything else wet. Another brilliant thing about it is that when you wash the towel it takes hardly any time to dry.Fantastic value and I can honestly, and sadly, say it has revolutionised my life!

I was recommended to use this in place of my regular heavyweight towel when at the gym. So when it arrived and my first use occurred I was initially disappointed. This can't and isn't getting me dry!! I very soon learnt that it does not have the feel of a big towel, but it rapidly does the job. Very rapidly. I have found that it is best to put it over your head and shoulders for a minute or so, then shoulders and middle then waist and downwards. It seems to suck the water off your body. If you don't mind missing that rub-down feeling with a towel then this is for you. I do use it most times. I was also told not to use fabric conditioner as it may destroy it's effectiveness. This was from a seasoned traveller who has used his towel for years.

I didn't realise until recently that microfibre towels were even 'a thing'. But when I spotted them, I thought they'd be ideal for me to use after the gym/pool. It takes me forever to get dried after showering there and often I'm still not bone dry before I just give up!Despite reading the reviews and seeing the pictures, I was still surprised by the compact size of the towel in it's travel bag when I received it. It's so thin and lightweight, you wonder how on earth it's going to be able to dry you at all! Make sure you pay attention to the dimensions before ordering, it's really quite a large towel.I hand washed the towel before using it for the first time and the colour ran slightly, but it wasn't too bad. I chose the light blue towel, the purple one may be slightly worse, I'm not sure. The quality seems good, stitching looks fine and the towel is nice and soft.Before getting this towel, space wasn't too much of an issue for me if just venturing to the pool, but on days when I go to the gym too, I can only barely stuff everything into my bag. But this towel folds up very neatly into a very compact size, or you can even just scrunch it up into a rough ball shape. It takes up such little room compared to a normal towel and of course it's much lighter too.As for the actual drying performance of the towel - I haven't noticed it drying me any quicker/more efficiently than regular towels sadly. As I mentioned above, I have to keep drying myself over and over when I've finished showering. I suppose it was unrealistic to expect the towel to help in this regard. It does have a different feel to it than normal towels - I found it quite pleasant - very soft and smooth. The towel does dry ITSELF very quickly - doesn't take long to be totally dry once hung up after I get home, or hung outside after being in the washing machine.It did seem to leave little bits of fluff in certain areas after using it, though I guess this is common of most fabrics when new. It was quite minor and it seems to be reducing the more it has been used/washed. I have also tried a different microfibre towel which also does this and it's a little bit worse, though I'm not sure if that's just because it is a dark green colour and a bit more noticeable.

I love this towel! I just started going to the gym and swimming etc to keep fit. I was getting fed-up with the choice between a big bulky bath towel or a tiny little towel that didn't really cover anything.This towel is just GREAT! its big enough to wrap around me securely when leaving the shower to go to get changed and its small enough to slip into my bag and not take up too much room! even when its wet, it sort of holds onto the water so doesn't make my bag wet.You have to get used to drying yourself in a different way - lay the towel on your skin and then rub or pat your hand over the towel without moving it instead of rubbing the towel on your skin to dry.I wouldn't be without this towel now in my gym bag. its just so handy and does the job. Even wash it out regularly on a cool wash and its not shrunk or colour run.

I got the biggest version of this and it is perfect for a 6ft 2 bloke for the gym. I’ve always took two towels as they just didn’t seem as absorbent (perhaps my choice of towels isn’t great). This towel has reduced my gym bag weight significantly and was as dry, if not dryer than before when I was using two towels. On a side note it does feel weird at first as I’ve never used a microfibre towel but it works just as well as a pure cotton one. My only gripe with this, (perhaps I am crap at folding) once taken out of the carry pouch I can’t seem to fold it back to fit in. Apart from that overall this is great for travelling and or the gym. Highly recommended.

I took one of these backpacking around Europe for a week, as I had 6-7 flights planned and I wanted to save some space and just take carry on.Sure it kind of sticks to your skin, and it's a little more effort to dry yourself after a shower, but it does the job perfectly.I don't think it ever even felt wet afterwards; maybe it kind of brushes the water off of you or something, I don't know, but I never had to deal with a big wet smelly towel taking up space in my bag and making everything else damp. This thing just kind of disappears into your bag until it's needed, and it's like one less bit of luggage to worry about.It also comes with its own little bag in the unlikely event that it does get wet..
