True fineliner
This is a great pen if you want a true fineliner. It's great if you have small handwriting and you want to be able to write in a bullet journal or filofax. Good black and comfortable grip. Would recommend. (Also comes in green, blue and red which are just as good, though I might like the blue to be a bit darker...)

lost count of number of broken nibs
I apologise to the sellers who sell this pen.. but I've broken so many nibs from the finer tips from these or similar Faber Castell. Really they are not fit for proper usage. If you are a very delicate person .. but if you're doing anything remotely interesting.. then.. sorry but I can't recommend these pens because of the lids. Unfortunately there isn't much better out there.. and aside from the nibs the pen ink is good. It's annoying because the nib only has to be about half a mm shorter and it probably wouldn't break after about 1 hour of usage. I wish I could give a better rating.. but I've had enough of these awful nibs

Doesn’t even work

dense black, but quickly drys out
I bought this brand specifically to write info on 4" x 5" photographic negatives, and it does a great job. Nice, dark, thin line that adheres to the negative. I use it only occasionally, after using my large format camera - I used it in January, then again in March, but now in early June, it is totally dry. I have fine line Sharpie pens that are over a year old that stil write well, but are not quite as dark as the Faber Castell.Save some money and buy the Sharpie, not the Faber-Castell
