Good, but has to be built
Arrived in parts and had to be built, but they did not provide the screw needed to secure the metal whirl that actually holds the soldering iron, so be careful

iron stand
i bought this stand for my weller 2012 iron which fits like a glove now, for the price its a bargain it is well made and quite large,so it wont tip over to stop it sliding about i am going to get some 5mm rubber tube, and slice it down one side and then slide it over the sides of the stand all in all a very good stand.

Not great
Fine and reasonably priced apart from two issues for me:- The bottoms of the metal sides that it rests on are sharp enough that you wouldn't want to rest it on any polished surface.- Even with my small soldering iron, it is close to overbalancing.I had to make a block of wood to fit underneath it to solve the two issues above - hence only 3 stars.

Quite simply, buy one - it does the job
Base is just bent sheet metal, but that said is a well made item that functions without falling over.Assembly takes a couple of minutes and just one bolt, washer and wing nut. SIMPLES!

Cheap and cheerful but perform the task well enough for my needs. Could be a bit heavier on the base but overall a great little item!

Goed voor de prijs
Goedkope, goedwerkende houder voor soldeerbout. Simpel, maar werkt goed. Beter dan ik voor de prijs had verwacht.

Para el precio, perfecto.
La base es de metal, no como otros soportes que son de plástico.Por lo tanto es estable, no hay peligro que se quema o que cuando caen gotas de estaño se puede dañar.La esponja es de risa, muy fina, pero como a mi no me hace falta y prefiero usar el hueco en la base para quitar estaño del soldador, me da igual.La marca del soporte es Velleman, una marca Holandesa muy conocida en el mundo de la electrónica.Entrega como de costumbre en Amazon Prime, al día siguiente. Una maravilla.Muy recomendable.
