The height of this gate is tall enough to keep cats from climbing and dogs from jumping over. The black gate is perfect for any decor. It’s sturdy, strong, performs well! Smooth and easy to open and close and even holds itself open, perfect when I’m carrying my groceries in. It performs well and good value for money.

My daughter—and her cat—moved back home for a bit. Her cat and ours do not get along, so we bought this gate. It’s much nicer than the large cardboard barrier we had fashioned out of an Amazon box! Actually, it’s very attractive. The door is easy to operate. It’s tall, so no worries that her boy will jump over. It’s not permanently affixed to the walls, so there will be no damage to repair. We’ve got it blocking off the entire front half of the house so the cat has lots of room. This was an expensive purchase, but worth it for looks and functionality.

The gate was ready to go in less than 10 minutes. It was so easy to put together and study that I decided to use it in a hallway. This allows for more equal room and smoother transition for the cats when they meet each other. I am ordering the 3.14" extender to do this. I will update the review when it is fully assembled. Great product and it looks nice too.

I love my black gate! It looks amazing and keeps all my cats out of our white "Parisian" themed guest room! Very easy to open and tall enough to keep all 6 of my cats out of this room. Our last guest loved being able to have the door open for light and air flow but keeps the room off limits to cats and little kids!

I received this product broken and damaged. It isn’t a flexible gate, there’s no stretch if you have wide walls.

Sturdy, simple setup and easy to use. I've had a number of standard height gates and this is nicer than any of them. Great seller too. I ordered with one doorway in mind and then ended up needing it in a larger doorway after it arrived. I reached out to the seller to see if I could buy the extension used on other sized gates. To my surprise they were willing to send me what I needed even though it was in no way their responsibility to do that.

Looked well made and like it would be perfect for what we needed except that for some reason, whoever built our house decided that the bathroom door should be 1" narrower than standard so it didn't fit. Had to return it. Nothing against this product but I do have questions about the builder....

does it's job and is good quality! kitty likes to lurk right at the gate and stare out at us like it's there to keep US away from HIM and it's creepy but kinda cute! we open it often to let him roam now that my brother (the one who's allergic) moved out, but kitty is very skeptical and doesn't travel very far... unless the dogs aren't around and no one has a close eye on him - then it's a cat hunt. if you do let your kitty roam but tend to lose track of 'em, i recommend putting a collar with a bell on kitty first, just in case. they're stealthy lil guys. especially in the dark.the only slightly annoying thing about the gate itself is that you have to lift it at the handle (oval cutout) to open it and it gives some resistance, but nothing bad enough not to recommend this product (also i might just be weak). the gate's width is adjustable which is nice, and you don't have to tighten it too much to make it stay sturdy.overall, great kitty jail. he can't jump over this one >:)
