So far I haven't found anything that I don't like about this notebook-style laptop. It's fast, responsive, and does all that I need it to do. I primarily use it for my creative writing class, and I'm thankful that the keyboard is quiet so I don't disturb others around me. Absolutely great for the price!

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this as a gift for my child’s birthday. Everything came brand new. Very beautiful and elegant looking for the price. We opened up the laptop and it acted like it didn’t want to turn on when we pressed the power button. The screen would flicker the logo a few times and then cut out. After 5 of those screen flickers it allowed me to create an account for the computer but then cuts out again but this time it fails to turn on at all! I had it sit on the charger for an hour and tried to turn on the laptop and it still isn’t turning on. I tried holding the power button for 10, 20, and 30s intervals to see if it would power on via manual restart and that still didn’t work. Very disappointed and my kid isn’t happy anymore. Birthday ruined.

Good features: 1. Good price. 2. Lightweight 3. Low-EMF.Bad features: every time there is a software update, something goes wrong with the drivers and I can't use the touchpad. I have had to have the drivers reinstalled twice in the last six weeks alone--it is expensive. I would not buy an Asus laptop again.I am updating my review as it is possible that the problem is a software bug with Windows 11 and not the fault of ASUS. If that is the case, then the ASUS laptop is just fine.

This purchase replaced a very similar ASUS laptop I've had for 8 years! Was the best small laptop I've ever owned until the hinge finally gave out after so many years of abuse! (Lol)This one is proving to be as good and likely much better than my last. Never have had any problem with ASUS technology or quality. I can't imagine a better product for the money.Buy one without worry!!

Seems like unit took at least 30 secs to boot from startup which is very inconvenient and annoying. This happens all the time. No quite sure it has anything to do with the setup.

This laptop came with win 10 .. to which I promptly disabled any updates. Much more versatile than a chromebook .. worth every penny. Has a rubber bumper all around, and seems well put together, also has enough connection points to plug in essentials.

I purchased this laptop and it was delivered on May 8, 2023 everything seemed to be fine. The last day it worked was June 27, 2023. On June 29, 2023 I tried to turn it on and it would not power up. It was fully chargeed on June 27 and the battery life had been great so that was not the issue. Even plugged in with the power cord it would not turn on. Less than 60 days since purchase. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with Amazon and Asus. Amazon return date passed on June 7, 2023 so Amazon will not allow the return. Asus will warranty for 90 days and has provided a shipping label to return it to them for possible repair. This is my only option but not feeling very warm and fuzzy about it. I have a suspicion I will be out the money I put in to this along with the Amazon rewards I used for it. BUYER's BEWARE!!!!
