Makes Turkish/Greek coffee and looks cute doing it
I saw a video on making Turkish coffee, and got nostalgic for Algiers, my favorite coffee shop from 45 years ago, in Harvard Square.Given the right tools and fine ground coffee (and a bit of sugar (or equiv) and (preferably fresh cracked) cardamom, this is easy to make.Plus it's traditional to turn over the demitasse, turn the cup 1.5x round, and do a bit of Rorschach fortune telling in the patterns of the slurry of grounds on the side of the cup.Tasty and entertaining!

Amazing cezve
I started drinking Turkish coffee and I’ve got my husband and daughter to drink it. The coffee I purchased originally didn’t “fit” in my original smaller cezve. When I bought another better coffe, I realized it wasn’t the smaller cezve, but the coffee that was too thick. I’m super pleased with the new brand of coffee. Both my small and larger cezve are very pretty. It’s easy to wash by hand, I’d neverPut it in the dishwasher. It’s very simple to use and I’m enjoying this Turkish coffee experience!!💝💝

Makes fragrant, lovely coffee
Ok. Another addiction. I now make Turkish coffee every evening and feel like I have almost mastered the process. I add about 1/4 tsp.of the Turkish or Moroccan spice as it’s coming to a boil. ( Sold here on Amazon) This process bears watching to get it right. You must stir quite continuously as it comes to a boil and catch it just as it’s about to overflow. I have yet to make a perfect pour without spillage. I think this is somewhat the fault of the pouring spout being too short. I can almost imagine I’m sitting in an open air market in Turkey, soaking up the sunshine and sipping my demi tasse of coffee. Ahhhh..
